About this ebook

The Nightmare Network releases its first edition book within the infamous expanse known as Blackbird County, where the most twisted, evilest, sadistic, darkest, and malicious characters reside here, calling this place their home. For one family, things are about to get very brutal when Horace Eerie, a mentally insane father yet a brutalizing husband, unsuspectedly returns home from an escape from prison back to his unwelcoming wife, Elizabeth Eerie. Together the two are parents of a rather quiet young girl who has a difficult time bonding with her overprotective mother as she considers herself to be a daddys girl. As far as Horaces charming personality toward his angelic little girl, Stacey Eerie, she is blinded by his true colors, as he attempts to force himself to play a role once again in her life regardless of the restraining order forms from court. Now he is on a mission of filling his daughters mind with verbal and visual poisons by teaching her that ruthless violence, torture, and abuse is the only way to make a stand in life and follow in his footsteps of pure evil. As far as Elizabeth, Horace does his best to continuously strike fear into her mind by driving her insane as he threatens to murder anyone and everyone who stands in the way of the reconstruction of his family that never was.

Meanwhile, as Stacey grows older within the comforting walls of an insane asylum, she soon realizes secrets about her fathers untimely death and tracks down his murderers at all costs, by any means necessary. Embracing the psychedelic side, she chases her cannibalistic taste for human flesh, her interest for blood, and her menacing behaviors she was raised on the past several years of her life. Soon enough it quickly becomes nearly impossible to break her habits and, above all, unstoppable as no one can control her. While on the other hand, she is surprisingly smitten by a new face in an unfamiliar territory that could be playing both sides of the fence with her emotions and ends up getting into a field of more than he initially bargained for. All along while these things are going on, employed staff at the asylum are harnessing various conniving secrets up their sleeves as well, so you have to wonder who are the real psychopaths.

Tye the Talent

Terron L. Whitehead, popularly known as Tye the Talent, is a self-published author, comic book artist, graphic designer, photographer, and public figure. He has been writing books since he was a young child, with some of his earliest works being unpublished comic books, children’s books, poetry, and home movie scripts. For years he struggled with the challenges of multiple talents and skills, trying to pursue them all but initially taking them one at a time. He has worked with various people, businesses, special events, volunteer works, and collaborative assignments. Being that he has more dark days than light within his life of challenges and tribulations, he has decided to ultimately pursue a career where he knows he fits in best. He loves to write a lot of dark novels, aiming to primarily release a lot of the stressful tensions, depressions, and nightmares he has lingering and departing within his imaginations of life’s visual aspect of reality, encoding what he feels is going on in the world. The Nightmare Network significantly defines all of a person’s wildest yet most terrifying nightmares to the worst possible extent, and he tries his best to transcribe it through his literary and visual works of talent. Although his works may appear sadistically insane or creepy to most, he just wants to express his own visions of creativity from never-before-seen aspects.

    Acknowledgement

I would like to start off by graciously thanking everyone in all for grabbing a copy of my very first published book because it means a lot to me personally as I spent many long days and nights staying awake pursuing my goals in writing and drawing. My parents weren't always happy about this as you could imagine its misunderstood to them on why we do some of the things we do, but I hope that one day they can read my book, or at least the acknowledgements page to thoroughly understand why I spent majority of my time awoke sitting in front of my computer, writing hundreds pages in notebooks, drawing tons of cartoons, and so much time indoors locked away in my bedroom, avoiding distractions and staying away from the television.

First and foremost, I wish to personally thank my best friend in the whole entire world: Sabrina K. Smith; who is actually more like a blood relative known as my little sister to most our mutual connections. She has been standing beside me throughout the years even before I ever started writing this book. I want her to know that I am truly thankful for sharing her happiness and views of interests especially when I began to start this project because she continuously offers great advice and provides me with great ideal suggestions! She has continued to follow me closely throughout the process of writing this book. I appreciate that she has provided me with insightful feedback to help me as she has been my number one motivation, my inspiration, and most of all she has always enthusiastically supported every last one of my new projects no matter the reach nor the risk. I would have probably give up without her support and I really appreciate it beyond words. I truly am thankful to dedicate this book to her, as she is the ultimate reason I continue moving forward every single day.

Secondly, I would like to thank my family starting with my mother: Lisa M. Whitehead; who didn't always have interest in my particular chosen paths of my work, but above all she never turned her back on me. Altogether, I'm not sure how my mother will take my book at the end of the day, but I hopefully do look forward to discussing this book with her when the time is right. I hope that she will understand how much this means to me, to just be free to write my books how I feel and create what I feel for the betterment of myself, regardless the books contents. I'm sure that one day she will adapt, and will honor it within her collection of souvenirs, if not possibly have just read it. In addition to this, I would like to thank my two older sibling sisters: Tramaine L. Whitehead and Treneice L. Whitehead for constant support and efforts to help me reach my goals on a regular basis whether halfway or full on, they keep me on the drive to determination down the path of success as far as guiding me to follow my ambitions throughout my life.

Thirdly, I would wish to give thanks to my other best friend: DeWayne McDonald, who has been like an older brother to me all through my years of high school here I initially drifted into the start of publicizing my art and talents a bit more with confidence. Without you along the paths of my teen years, I would've ended up just another guy walking away from his talents, but you kept me focused, and you never let me forget the purpose of my talents.

Fourthly, I hereby acknowledge my aunt and uncle: Bill and Linda Collins; who not only have always supported me throughout everything I did with my career no matter what it was, but also they kept me inspired me daily to stick to my goals, reach for my dreams, and to aim for the stars, but also without the two of them I wouldn't have made it this far without the enthusiastic support and the financial support that helped me majorly along the way with necessary need for materials and supplies.

Fifthly, I would also like to acknowledge my other aunt and uncle: Cheryl and Herman Ginwright; who have been in my corner since day one with showing their interest and much appreciation that I stuck tightly to my goals rather than give up so easily or walk away when times get hard. You two have provided me with excellent support and advice, in which I'll forever be grateful.

Next, I definitely would like to give a ceremonial special thanks to my recently deceased relative as of this era of time, so I would like to personally acknowledge and thank my grandmother: Theresa Whitehead; for always putting my best interest forward towards open doors of opportunity, always cheering me up, for loving me in ways that no one else could quite give, and for most of all believing me when I had no one else's faith in darkest of times where I needed encouragement when it seemed too difficult for things to be completed. Though you now your body rest peacefully within your grave, the loving memories of you will always remain in my heart. I'll never forget the things that truly mattered, though you didn't make it to see my success, and my emotions had gotten shattered.

In addition, I also would like to give a ceremonial special thanks to my recently deceased relative as of this era of time, who is none other than my grandfather: Kenneth W. Payne; who was more of a father to me, he was the definition of a real man, he was a best friend, a leader, a hero, but most of all a legend that will never be forgotten. You helped me get through many obstacles of my life, you showed me how to be a man in the growth of manhood that exist in my life that I couldn't learn anywhere else, and you always made time to listen to me when no one else would make time. As hard as it is to say goodbye, I could never, and as soon as my outlook on life has finally begun, nearly afterwards, yours ended with a war that couldn't be won.

Furthermore, I do wish to propose a very special thank you specifically for Xlibris Book Publishers for providing me with this tremendous opportunity in helping me achieve my lifelong goal in crafting my very first book ever right here with your business, and thank you for your services in marketing my book to the best individuals out here. I appreciate every bit of it!

Finally, thanks to all of the individuals who followed my path of successes and failures throughout the years, but most importantly to me you never gave up on me. Thanks for everything, I look forward to writing the second and hopefully the following editions as well!

    Chapter 1

    Daddy's Little Girl

Fast paced movements and faint sounds echoing through the hallway as fast paced footsteps march, squeaky wheels roll, and muffled voices chattering from the darkness. Bashing through the double doors into the surgery laboratory. The group of orderlies, doctors and a nurse all hang onto tightly to the gurney as they push forward dashing through the hallway. Suddenly, an abrupt hold has taken place as they have arrived to the operating room. Doctor Lowell pulls out a defibrillator device and places it onto a nearby tabletop. Then he grabs hold of the twin electrode paddles and firmly presses down onto her chest as he shouts out all clear notice to the others. As Nurse Kara pushes the tool cart next to Stacey's unconscious body lying on the gurney. Doctor Lowell continues to try and revive her. He shouts out Clear as Nurse Kara checks her pulse, but still receives no immediate reactions. Everyone begins to look around at one another, but suddenly Stacey's right hand twitches and surprisingly she rapidly and unexpectedly rises up from off of her backside as she sits upright onto the gurney. Stacey immediately grabs hold of Doctor Smith's neck forcibly pulling him in closer and begins biting a huge chunk of skin and bloody flesh from his neck. Nurse Kara immediately backs up out of fear. She stumbles backwards until she then backs away completely into a wall panicking and screaming in complete terror. The other doctors back away in fear, but Stacey quickly springs an attack onto Doctor Hill as he gets stabbed in his right temple by a sharp pair of surgical scissors before he could back away fast enough from her reach.

Stacey kicks back the tool cart away with her bare feet, hops down from the gurney onto the floor, and begins to escape the room.

Nurse Kara pulls out her inhaler as her asthma begins to bother her. She quivers and shakes as she's heavily wheezing, and finally using her inhaler as she squats down to the floor nearly out of breath. Meanwhile, Doctor Lowell yells out for the two orderlies to stop and detain Stacey before they lose her again. From the opposite ends of the hallway in precise direction of where Stacey was headed, the orderlies come charging down towards her with their flashlights held up in defense as weapons, and extreme aggressive gazes within their eyes. Stacey then decides to run a different direction into a conjoined hallway off to the left side. Out of nowhere Joshua calls out to Stacey while harnessing his firearm aimed at her backside as she completely stops due to the recognition of his voice. She slowly looks back over her shoulder to face him. She stares directly into his eyes causing silent sadness as he catches his feelings and lowers his firearm. Then she immediately turns back around and continues to runaway into the darkness of the hallway out of sights of everyone's flashlights and the buildings emergency lighting.
