Epilogue:
The coded formula was written in last page of his book. A book that only Tom can interpret. It will remain a secret until someone as intelligent as him comes along and has the ability to break that code. Only then can it be improved or innovated upon. Only then can there be found a new formula that develops Tom’s formula beyond its current perfection.
Beginning….
All the people of Earth were anxiously and desperately seeking anti-aging medicines and the cures for the rampant illnesses that were overwhelming all the immune systems of the inhabitants of the planet. The United States of America (USA) had built a new city adjacent to NASA where all of the top scientists and their families lived.
All over the world, among all of the nations, there was an unending competition to advance the technologies of space research. The competitors of NASA including united terrorist leaders decided to target their USA competitors and destroy NASA and all of its nearby USA planetariums, research centers and assets.
They sent massive missile strikes that bombarded the USA in wave after wave of destruction. Billions of people were killed.
A large part of NASA City was destroyed; but a part remained.
P1161435.tifThis is where the story of Tom begins, in the year 4000 A.D. Part of the destruction of Tom’s world was the loss of his wife. However, he was fortunate that his son, Gordon and his daughter, Mary survived the destruction. At the time of the blast, Gordon was two while Mary was only one year old.
Tom, desperate with the loss of his wife, and feeling the emotional weight of the billions of dead, decided that the only safe place remaining for himself and the kids was within the shelter of the planet. So, he began digging a hole to retreat to.
Desperation was his first guide, then the project took on a more thoughtful turn, as it became a sophisticated underground shelter.
From the nearby NASA facility where Tom worked, he began gathering and collecting metal scraps, nuts and bolts. This facility was where NASA assembling the construction of their new Starship-X. This was the latest, most efficient and durable space ship ever. The technology for creating these metals was the best on the planet. The purity and strength of these materials would become the stuff of legends.
To speed up digging, Tom invented a mini-laser-drill hand tool. Tom designed and built his underground shelter and laboratory, providing for maximum impact resistance to counteract any movement of the earth caused by either man-made or natural causes.
Two years after beginning his shelter, Tom had successfully built a highly advanced underground shelter and technical laboratory. The waste materials he had scavenged from the Starship fabrication area, especially the panels he used to make the walls and ceilings, were both pleasing to his eye and structurally sound. His new shelter can withstand bombing and

daughter in peace and security. Tom was one of the unit leaders of NASA’s biological research department. As such, he was obliged to spend most of his time at the Research Center but he found ways to raise and educate his kids and made time for his regular meditation.
NASA had offered Tom space within their facilities for himself and his family. However, he refused. If he had given up his secret shelter, he would not have been able to put as much time into his inventions, and certainly would not be able to finish prior to the launch date of the Starship-X. During this time, water and electricity was a significant problem in the US territories as well as other countries all over the world.
Tom improved NASA’s systems and tapped into their supplies to make use of the bounty he was providing them. In secret, he brought in water, sewerage and electricity to service the underground shelter. He made the tunnel big enough that he would be able to have passage through it, and be able to ferry small parcels. The tunnel connected from his laboratory to the Research Center. It also gave him access to his best friend and colleague, Dr. Ed McSci, Head of the NASA Planetarium. Though they both worked for NASA, in the same Division, it was for different units.
Tom had designed his high-tech shelter to fully support three occupants for a period of fifty years. It would be self-sustained, providing all the
