Introduction
I started writing poetry when I was 15 years old. At First, it was just a fun activity to pass the time, but eventually, it was one of the things that saved me. My twenties were nothing more than a domino effect of mistakes. I no longer wanted to write in my journal because I had personiFied it as a real person I was talking to and was too embarrassed to write down what was going on in my life. I began getting my feelings out through poetry so I could use my creative skills without being too speciFic. However, at 30 years old, I am now ready to let the world know. I suffer from a multitude of mental illness and every day is a struggle I must Fight. Everyone in my life would ask one another, What is wrong with Rachel?
