The Liberian Flag, Liberian Seal, and words of the Liberian National Anthem are on opening pages. A Matching Exercise for the child on the outside back cover compares the shapes of Liberian counties. Notes on Liberia are for those unfamiliar with Liberia. Fun learning for the whole year!

Elaine Armour Wolo, second of ten children of Rev. & Mrs. L. J. Armour, Sr., of New Orleans; retired educator, introduced to Africa by Operation Crossroads, Africa, beginning over two decades in Africa. Wrote first book, Wilmot, the Canoe Boy, in USAID-Edna Chandler workshop; taught pre-k through university; shared in New Orleans churches & schools; presenter, local/international conferences in U.S.; book fairs in Europe. She is the widow of Samuel N. Wolo, Sr., mother of Dr. Tanae Wolo-Acolatse. (Joachim), and Samuel N. Wolo, Jr.(Toya); grandmother of Miaya, Anthony, Cydnie, Kyndal, and Anaiya.
