Samanandha
Samanandha is an Indian settled in Mumbai. He is aged 49 but has retained all the curiosity of a young child. He has refused to accept things merely because they are called ‘scientific’ and are taught as truth by teachers in schools and colleges. He has not allowed ‘negative labelling’ by a hostile atheistic environment to intimidate and hinder his free thinking. He has found out ‘truths’ in a New Light.

PREFACE
A s a young boy fascinated by the huge blanket of darkness that covered the night sky, I always looked up to the stars and wondered how they ever came into being or who put them there. Those small shining specks of dust, are they really as big as people say they are? How do they just stay up there and don’t fall right down on us? As I grew older, the number of questions that I sought answers to began to increase. With the subject so dominated by opinions from people trying to decipher the expanse with theories founded on probabilities and limitless time, I wondered if the Creator would ever receive credit.
Understanding creation is a very important step in the journey towards understanding the Creator. Creation is the magnificent display of God’s being and man can spend his entire existence trying to comprehend it but might barely scratch the surface.
There has always been a contest between science and the Bible and I’m really pleased with the level of maturity and truth with which the author sheds light on this subject. The Word and the Work of the Creator are always in sync and this book proves this fact throughout.
I believe this book would be the answer to many creation lovers like me, people with many questions about the beauty that fills the expanse.
It’s my heartfelt desire that this book reaches every star gazer and gives him information on that bit of reality that has the power to transform his life forever.

GREETINGS TO THE READER!
H ello! This book has been written in response to certain questions which arise in our minds. All of us have paused at some time, in the mad rush of our everyday living, to wonder who we are and how we have come to exist on earth. When we were in school we were too young to understand things and our books taught us only one particular view. We were never informed that there were other world views and we were never encouraged to compare the plus points and minus points of the various views in order to arrive at the truth. Our innocent minds were fed with only one ‘line of thinking’ and all other options were omitted. Naturally we grew up believing our school books especially since it appeared as if their authors had complete knowledge of all the information in the universe. After growing up, we found ourselves too busy to stop and think about what we had been taught at school. There were moments when we felt that we had missed out something and that our books could be wrong. Our thinking minds could not accept that we human beings were just modified monkeys and it seemed strange that the beauty and symmetry in the universe were the results of mere random chance. We, however, never found the time to follow our thoughts and chose to remain passive. Today we are living in enlightened days and the time has now come to examine the teachings of our school and college books and also explore other possibilities before reaching a conclusion about what is most likely to be the truth. It is our ‘right’ to find out whether we and our universe are here just by ‘chance’ and ‘fluke,’ as our school books tell us. We need ‘light’ to see things clearly and we are now going to look at the truth of our existence and the knowledge available in our books in a ‘NEW LIGHT!’
9 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. [Psalm119:105]
THE ATTITUDE TOWARDS KNOWLEDGE
✓ Get wisdom; get insight; do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth. Do not forsake her, and she will keep you; love her, and she will guard you. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight. Prize her highly, and she will exalt you; she will honor you if you embrace her. [Proverbs 4: 5-8]
✓ And why do you not judge for yourselves what is right? [Luke 12:57]
CHAPTER 1
THE UNIVERSE
O ur books tell us that we are staying on a planet called earth, which is revolving around a star called the sun, which is part
