Chapter One
Early Childhood
Mehi.
I t was a starry night and the moon was at it’s brightest when Mehi was born, the third daughter to a aristocratic couple of nuclear scientists of Iran who were very close to the Ayatollah; she was her father’s most favourite of daughters right from the time she was born. Her father lifted her to the balcony of the hospital and showed the young child the bright night sky that lay before them. Her father telling her Look my child the world rejoices your birth
.
Her father went back to her mother and the both looked at each welcoming their new born child in this world. After a few days her mother was discharged from the hospital and there was a huge party at their place in her welcome, everyone who was someone in Iran was invited and they blessed Mehi with their love to her. The whole house was lighted with happiness and her two sisters could not manage their happiness of their new younger sister coming to the family. Her mother held her close in her arms in her warm embrace the whole evening. The guests were gone before the night end and by the time they could catch sleep the next day had arrived….
The family guest had stayed back for a few days and there was still lot of happiness and cheers around the house, the mornings were spent preparing for the lunch, the afternoons were spend in rest while the evenings were spend in shopping and another grand dinners at the family. The whole family was in a mood to rejoice this new happiness that had set the whole family in the festive mood. Fire crackers light the night skies everyday outside their house and the whole of Iran was talking about the happiness her family was sharing and grandness of the whole atmosphere.
It was as if the world was waiting for her to grow and see her shape into a woman who would change the destiny of the whole Arab world - Mehi was the name her parents gave her - a lion headed Goddess…As if she was blessed by Raab right since her birth she began her journey of life, little knowing what destiny held for her and the love someone would hold so dear to his heart far away from the borders of Iran.
Harald
Born on the glorious day of the sun, he was his parents’ only child. Although born before his time he looked quite healthy and full of the glow of the sun. The hospital was tense as the child’s birth was pre-ordained by those in power in Germany. The doctors rushed all day long ensuring the boy was in great health and the mother was safe. His father was the wealthiest money lender in the whole of Germany. They used to mock saying if his father wanted, he could buy the world such was the power of the money of his father.
Right since morning the top military brass was doing the rounds and checking on the boy’s health. Bright as sun he could not stop smiling at anyone who held him close, they all could not just stay away from his glowing charm still as a little baby. By the time the morning newspapers were out the whole of Germany knew the boy had arrived and there was tension bringing back the horrors of the Nazi era to many across the globe. The boy looked to be enjoying all the expectation of his parents and lay smiling in his mother’s warm embrace. His father leaving everything behind to ensure he was with his boy.
The nurse checked the boy and the doctors were happy with the results everything was under control and there was no need to worry explained the doctors to his father. By evening the parents were back at their home and everyone who worked for his parents were rejoiced at his arrival, the heir was born and there was no looking back to the joy he had brought to his parents. They were dancing, they were singing, giving alms to the poor and the needy as the Gods’ had given them everything they prayed for. He looked untouched by all this and kept his boyish smile and winked at his father. His father held him close through the night and kept talking to his boy as if he could understand every word he was saying to him, while his mother rested. His father’s friends across the globe called with their wishes and blessed the boy with all their hearts.
They named him Harald - The Army Ruler, for he was dubbed to be the Architect Of The World, the man who would bring all world together in peace and harmony….
Mehi
Right from her early days she showed signs of being a great woman one day, she used to talk with a voice everyone used just listen, the day she began talking her father’s joy had no bounds. He kept listening to her angel voice, made her talk again and again and smiled from inside hearing her voice.
