Macy Montgomery Johnson

MACY MONTGOMERY JOHNSON is a retiree of the Chicago Board of Education. Several years prior to teaching and rearing a family, she worked as an Administrative Assistant at Alcorn State University in Mississippi and subsequently at Johnson Publishing Company in Chicago, Illinois. She has done volunteer work at several churches where she constructed religious bulletin boards which are listed in her book, “Praising God through Bulletin Boards.”

First of all, I give thanks to God for His inspiration and guidance as I complied this book.

This book is dedicated to my parents, the late Arthur and

Hattie Rhyne-Montgomery, who introduced me to Christianity at an early age. To them I am most grateful.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to my husband, Joseph Johnson, my son, Victor, and my daughter, Jo Lisa, without whose patience and support completion of this book would have been extremely difficult. I am also appreciative of the late Sophronia Moses (my high school English teacher) who insisted on excellence.
