LIFE IS A GAME
OUR LIFE IS LIKE A GAME, YOU PLAY HOW YOU CHOOSE
OUR LIFE IS LIKE A GAME, YOU EITHER WIN OR YOU LOSE
IN THIS GAME YOU DON’T PICK PLAYERS, THE PLAYER IS YOU
BE AWARE THERE WILL BE MANY LEVELS YOU WILL HAVE TO GO THROUGH
YOU MAY PASS OR YOU MAY FAIL
BUT NO MATTER WHAT YOU MUST PREVAIL
IN SOME LEVELS THERE MAY BE A MOUNTAIN YOU WILL HAVE TO CLIMB
BUT YOU WON’T HAVE ANY TEAMS TO HELP YOU THROUGH YOUR STRIFE
SO BELIEVE YOU CAN PASS AND I PROMISE YOU WON’T FAIL
SO PLAY THE GAME AND PLAY IT WELL
WILL I RISE?
MY HEART IS FILLED WITH HURTFUL STRIFE
WILL I HANDLE THE CHALLENGES IN MY LIFE?
WILL I TAKE MY HANDS AND RISE ABOVE?
WILL I EVER KNOW MY MOTHER’S LOVE?
I CAN SEE THE REFLECTIONS IN MY EYES
WHEN I’M DOWN, WILL I RISE?
WILL I HANDLE THE CHALLENGES IN MY LIFE?
LIKE THE MOUNTAIN I WILL HAVE TO CLIMB
WITHOUT MY MASK, WHERE WILL I HIDE?
WILL I GET OUT OF THE DARKNESS AND SEE THE LIGHT?
WILL I TRY TO BE HAPPY AND BE LIKE EVERYBODY
OR WILL I TRY TO DO MY BEST AND HANDLE LIFE’S TEST?
WILL I CRASH AND REALIZE I’M RECKLESS?
WILL I GO UNDER AND REALIZE I’M BREATHLESS?
WILL I ASK FOR HELP AND REALIZE I’M HELPLESS?
OR WILL I JUST SEARCH FOR HELP AND DON’T KNOW WHERE THE HELP IS?
WILL PEOPLE HURT ME FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE?
WILL I HANDLE THE CHALLENGES IN MY LIFE?
WILL I TAKE MY HANDS AND RISE ABOVE?
WILL I EVER KNOW MY MOTHER’S LOVE?
HAVE YOU EVER
HAVE YOU EVER BEEN HURT, ABANDONED, OR BETRAYED?
HAVE YOU EVER BEEN SO CONFUSED AND YOU COULDN’T THINK STRAIGHT?
HAVE YOU EVER BEEN LIED TO AND FELT DISAPPOINTED?
HAVE YOU EVER WONDER WHY THINGS DON’T GO AS YOU WANT THEM?
HAVE YOU EVER FELT UP BUT STARTED TO SINK UNDER?
HAVE YOU EVER HAD UNANSWERED QUESTIONS LEAVING YOUR MIND TO PONDER?
HAVE YOU EVER BEEN IN SO MUCH PAIN YOU DIDN’T WANT TO MOVE?
HAVE YOU EVER BEEN SO SHOCKED YOU DIDN’T KNOW WHAT TO DO?
HAVE YOU HAD SO MANY BAD DAYS YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE CURSED?
IF SO THAN BEFORE YOU THINK ABOUT GIVING UP LISTEN TO WHAT I HAVE TO SAY FIRST
YOUR WEATHER FORECAST WILL BE THUNDER BEFORE THE SUN CAN SHINE
IN LIFE YOU HAVE TO BE PATIENT AND GIVE THINGS TIME
YOU MAY BE ALONE AND DON’T HAVE HELP
BUT JUST TURN TO YOURSELF AND NOBODY ELSE
LIFE IS NOTHING BUT A TEST SO DO YOUR BEST TO PREVAIL
IF YOUR HAVE ANY DOUBT THEN YOU ALREADY FAILED
ANNOY NEGATIVITY AND THE PEOPLE WHO BRING YOU DOWN
IF PEOPLE TELL YOU THAT YOU CAN’T THEN YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE THEM AROUND
WALK AROUND THIS WORLD WITH YOUR HEAD HELD HIGH
RAISE YOUR HANDS UNTIL THEY TOUCH THE SKY
BELIEVE YOU WILL REACH THAT LIGHT
SAY IT LIKE YOU MEAN IT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
YOUR HEAD SHOULDN’T BE DOWN FOR ANY REASON
YOU’LL HAVE TO PUSH THINGS OUT OF THE WAY BEFORE YOU CAN HAVE A CLEAR PATH
AND REMEMBER FORGET ABOUT THE PAST AND CONCENTRATE ON WHERE YOU’RE AT
LIFE
LIFE IS LIKE A WINE, IT HAS MANY FLAVORS
LIFE IS LIKE AN HOUR GLASS, YOUR TIME ISN’T FOREVER
LIFE IS LIKE THE WINTER, IT CAN LEAVE YOU COLD
LIFE IS LIKE A DRUNKEN PERSON, IT HAS NO CONTROL
LIFE IS LIKE A GAME, SOME PLAY FOR THE WRONG REASONS
LIFE IS LIKE A DREAM, ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN
LIFE IS LIKE LIGHTNING, IT COMES AT YOU FAST
LIFE IS LIKE A PLAY, YOU PUT ON THE ACT
LIFE IS LIKE WORK, YOU’RE YOUR OWN BOSS
LIFE IS LIKE A PRICE TAG, IF YOU DO SOMETHING BAD THEN YOU PAY THE COST
LIFE IS LIKE A BLIND DATE, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT
LIFE IS LIKE A MIRROR, EVERY DAY YOU HAVE TO FACE IT
LIFE IS LIKE A MOVIE, GOD REVIEWS IT
AND WHEN IT’S ALL OVER, HE IS THE FINAL CRITIC
LIFE (PART II)
LIFE IS LIKE A PARTY BE CAREFUL WHO YOU LET ATTEND
LIFE IS LIKE A MOVIE, BE CAREFUL WHO YOU CAST AS YOUR FRIENDS
LIFE IS LIKE A DOOR, PEOPLE COME IN AND OUT
LIFE IS LIKE A CLUE, IT GIVES YOU SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
LIFE IS LIKE A MAZE, YOU’RE TRYING TO FIND YOUR WAY
LIFE IS LIKE A PLAY, YOU ARE CENTER STAGE
LIFE IS LIKE AN OCEAN, YOU EITHER SWIM OR YOU SINK
LIFE IS LIKE A ROAD, IT CAN BE A LITTLE BUMPY
LIFE IS LIKE WEARING A BLINDFOLD; YOU MAY NOT SEE THINGS WHEN IT’S RIGHT IN YOUR FACE
LIFE IS LIKE A STAIN, THERE ARE SOME THINGS YOU CAN’T WIPE AWAY
LIFE IS AN HOUR GLASS, WE DON’T HAVE MUCH TIME
LIFE IS LIKE A MOVIE, EXCEPT YOU CAN’T PRESS REWIND
POOL OF SORROW
I USED TO BELIEVE THAT LIFE HAD NO MEANING
AND IF SOMEONE TOLD ME OTHERWISE
THEY WERE PROBABLY JUST DREAMING
AT NIGHT I COULD NEVER SLEEP, I ALWAYS WOKE UP SCREAMING
I FELT LIKE ANY HAPPINESS I HAD WAS JUST GONE COMPLETELY
I FEEL EMPTY, DOES ANYONE CARE?
NO ONE IS WITH ME, NOBODY’S THERE
I’M ALONE AND FEEL SCARED, WHAT DO I DO?
MY HEART CAN NO LONGER BEAR
I DON’T HAVE ANYONE TO RUN TO
I’M SO LONELY, I DON’T HAVE ANY FRIENDS
THERE’S A POOL OF SORROW AND I’M THINKING ABOUT JUMPING IN
I WOULDN’T EVEN BOTHER TRYING TO SWIM OR LET MYSELF OUT
I WANT TO JUST SINK TO THE BOTTOM AND LET MYSELF DROWN
NO ONE WILL NOTICE I’M MISSING BECAUSE I’M DEAD AND I NEVER LIVED
THE ONLY THING I CAN HOPE FOR IS THAT I CAN BE FORGIVEN
AS I’M SITTING THERE WAITING FOR EVERYTHING TO END
I SEE A FLASH OF LIGHT FOLLOWED BY A HAND
WITHOUT THINKING TWICE I REACHED FOR IT AND WAS PULLED TO THE TOP
I FELT ASHAMED I WAS GOING TO ALLOW MY WORLD TO STOP
AS I GLANCED AT THE PERSON I WONDER HOW THIS COULD BE
THE PERSON THAT SAVED ME WAS NO ONE OTHER THAN ME
I SAVED MYSELF I GAVE MYSELF A CHANCE
LIFE IS A DANCE FLOOR AND INSTEAD OF STANDING THERE I DANCED
I JUMPED IN THE POOL OF HOPE AND PROMISED NEVER TO THE POOL OF SORROW AGAIN
PEACE
IF PEACE WAS A PERSON, PEACE WOULDN’T DO ANY WRONG
PEACE WOULD KNOW HOW TO GET ALONG
IF PEACE WAS A PERSON, PEACE WOULD LOVE JUST LIKE ME
AND IMAGINE A BETTER PLACE THIS WORLD WOULD BE
IF PEACE WAS A PERSON, PEACE WOULD BE KIND
THERE WOULDN’T BE ANY VIOLENCE IN THIS TRAGIC TIME
IF PEACE WAS STRENGTH, PEACE WOULD BE STRONG
AND THE WORLD CAN SING A HAPPY SONG
IF PEACE WAS AN EMOTION, PEACE WOULD BE HAPPY AND NEVER CRY
IF PEACE WAS A PERSON, PEACE WOULDN’T DIE
IF PEACE WAS A PERSON, THE WORLD WOULD BE A BETTER PLACE
IT WILL BE BETTER THAN WHAT IT IS TODAY
HOW TO COPE
HOW DO YOU COPE WHEN YOU KNOW YOU’RE THE REASON OF SOMEONE’S PAIN?
WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN YOUR HAPPINESS STARTS TO FADE?
HOW DO YOU REACT WHEN THE ONE YOU LOVE TELLS YOU THAT THEY HATE YOU?
AND THE PEOPLE WHO YOU THOUGHT HAD YOUR BACK ALL OF A SUDDEN WANTS TO FIGHT YOU
WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN YOUR FRIENDS DISAPPEAR?
HOW DO YOU SEE WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN YOUR VISION ISN’T CLEAR?
YOU CAN START OFF BY GETTING UP AND NOT SULKING IN
