About this ebook
Dr. Charles Mullings
In ‘A Prince of Pentecost’ by Dr. Charles C. Mullings, Sr., the author engage many people with a working knowledge of Bishop M. R. Saunders, Sr., to extract the internal evidences that cause thousands to gravitate to him. From this evidence, the author seeks four factors: (I) a Christological confession that makes him genuinely apostolic, (2) the interdisciplinary traction that drives his high intellectual sharpness, (3) the sociological factors that impel his sense of humor, (4) most importantly, the source from which he drinks to foster the effervescence out of his deep spiritual reservoir. A Prince of Pentecost must demonstrate some superhuman qualities; he has to manifest a high degree of spiritual discipline as well as exhibit Holy Ghost dynamics par excellence. Bishop Saunders’ life is the quintessence of these expectations, as well as myriads of other spiritual offerings. This book is compelling reading for Christians, who are seeking a deeper spiritual fountain to foster an exemplary walk with our Lord Jesus Christ.

Dedication
It seems good to the Holy Ghost to dedicate this book to the Matriarch of this great organization First United Church of Jesus Christ (Apostolic). She is the surviving half of the formidable duo that stood in the trenches and bore the brunt of the assault as the organization went through growing pains. She endured the birth pangs in informing a continuity of our group by providing the outer covering for the current Presiding Prelate of this August body of believers. Since the transition of her other self, she has been the quiet but firm giant and steady force behind the continued forward movement of the organization.
We salute her for the years of faithfulness and fervent walk with the Lord and for helping to carry this Ark of the Covenant on her shoulders. It seems that the hotter the battle, the more radiantly she shines with the Shekinah Glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Keep on living Mother, don’t even think of transition now, continue to supply us with years of felicity, motherly love, and continued direction.
To our Elect—Lady, Mother Alberta Brockington- Saunders we dedicate this book: Bishop Monroe Randolph Saunders, Sr., A Prince of Pentecost.

FOREWORD
Through Bishop Monroe R. Saunders, Sr., shines a perpetual light that is still guiding hundreds of thousands on their way to their eternal abode with God. This elucidation was not Camelot; just for one shining moment; it was a Heaven Sent force that is not temporary but permanent. I believe God has chosen a few individuals to be specialized carriers of His tidal wave of power and spiritual energy for delivery to people getting ready to dwell with Him. Bishop Saunders, Sr., was one of those contagious conveyance vessels.
His life was the personification of Servanthood; his order was service to God’s people. He exhibited that quality of work that is scarcely seen on earth. He travelled on the highway but distributed life, love, attention, kindness, and spiritual nourishment to those on the byways. It is a mystery that he was able to traverse in heavenly places but be of tremendous significance in the earthly realm.
Bishop’s walk with His God was no ordinary travel. He demonstrated an infectious carriage; his spirit’s effect on people was transforming, as they were exposed to the Holy Ghost. His spiritual sharpness was constantly on display, as people gravitated to his magnetic personality. His intellectual brilliance and humour were trademarks that distinguished his earthly abode.
In this modern day when people are trying to recreate God in their images, Bishop Saunders showed the world the ‘limitless person,’ created in the image of God. He modeled Godliness to a generation trying to set up their own gods. It is a privilege to read and absorb the contents of this book and to become vicariously acquainted with this man of God. Chief Apostle, Monroe Randolph Saunders, Sr.
PREFACE
You have probably read or heard about outstanding attributes of godly men of yesteryears and today. However, you may not have read or heard about a heavenly minded man with an extraordinary capacity to exhibit human goodness, until you vicariously experience Dr. Monroe, Randolph Saunders Sr., through the pages of this book.
Dr. Saunders loved God. He also loved people without owning them. How are these related?
Dr. Saunders could answer questions about God, issues such as- How do I become like Jesus? How to become sons of God? How do I experience God at the deepest level? How do I pour into God’s people and manage them without owning them? What do I need to become an effective leader and not lose my soul? What about God’s cloudless sky?
These questions were often echoed through Dr. Saunders personal conversations, ministerial sessions, the preaching of God’s Word, and Homegoing celebrations of departed saints.
Answers to these issues were relevant to Dr. Saunders because he had a curious mind, he was intelligent in the natural; anointed and equipped in the spiritual.
Dr. Saunders was a sociologist, a man who studied and was acquainted with the behaviors of people from diverse backgrounds, nationalities, and races. Dr. Saunders was also compassionate and caring. He exemplified the meaning of "caring was sharing". You might agree that he was a true evangelist.
Just like St. Paul on his missionary journeys, planting churches, overseeing churches and ministering to the followers of Christ, Dr. Saunders traveled extensively within the United States and the world. His mission was the same, planting new churches, rebuilding broken churches, preaching, teaching, ministering, giving of his resources, both financially and time-wise in building the Kingdom of God.
Being in Dr. Saunders’ presence, you might agree that he was also a humorist; he was amusing. He believed that God and life were totally interconnected; Dr. Saunders found that laughter was medicine for the heart.
My hope is that as you feast your eyes on the pages of this book, you will experience the love Dr. Monroe Saunders Sr., shared through relationships with God and humanity. Through your vicarious experience with Dr. Saunders, may your life be elevated to the dimension where you become just like Jesus!
