There’s no real word for love to me

But I’m going to try and say them through this poetry

If you were food I’d eat you slow

To saver the flavor

Knowing heavens in every bite

And you’re going to fill me up just right

Dreaming of eating you again later that night

Hoping you’ll be back in my sight

So I can dig in

And wish the meal didn’t come to an end

Because I’m in heaven

This is how I feel when I’m with you

Not for how you look

Or the things you can do

But because I love you

Girl I don’t know what to do

See I’m in love with you

I’m sure you already know

I don’t know how things should go

So I tried taking it slow

But that’s not going to flow

I need you in my life

It doesn’t matter whether you become my wife

Just need a girl that’s going to be there

For the good and the bad time we share

Giving loving and care

At every affair

I’m thinking that’s you

Needs to be told

To the black and white

Who still fight

Those who hate

Instead of appreciate

Yea we might be a different color

But we all came from the same mother

It all started with one Mr. And Misses

Who began giving each other kisses

So lets just put aside are differences

Because hating one another

Is like hating a sister or brother

I’m outside looking for something pretty

But the streets are looking shitty

I was told poetry was beautiful

But that’s a bunch of bull

It doesn’t have a face
