A Spiritual Wedding
Dedicated to my wife Karen who is the reason why I write… . to God who is the reason why I’m alive & living in favor… . and to my mother, Hattie Davis, the Reason why I’m here. As a child raised by my Mother, with the help of my two sisters (Mary & Earnestine) Grandma Annie B. Osborne, and Auntie Mae, I quickly learned to appreciate women, to care for them, to respect and protect them. I affectionately labeled them as my Special Ladies… when I first met Karen, I knew by her personality and charm that if she would hear me and share with me, I would do everything to add her to my group of Special Ladies. God knew this also and now some 35 years later Karen is my Wife… . and what a journey it was to reach this point, the separation, the search for her, and the eventual connection on Facebook with Divine guidance from my Father God and The Lord, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. I give my Lord Jesus Christ all the Glory for Conversations of the Heart
A True Love story… . a spiritual love story that touches the heart as it details through this couples’ undying love that was lost and then reclaimed.
A chance meeting back in June, 1975 brought them together and a short but intense affair that lasted until February, 1976, leaving footprints around both hearts until his return on June 1, 1979, Steve searching for his Karen who was nowhere to be found… .
Years pass… . 35 years. By then came the invention of the social network, the internet, Facebook, email, texting. One morning in Tampa Florida, around 4:30 am, by inspiration from God, Steve walks to his computer, pulls up Facebook and types into the search box, Karen Worthey… . and there she was… Karen Worthey in Miami Garden, Florida.
Then there was the first note to Karen… . Karen do you remember Steve?
After that came a continual flow of email between the two reclaiming the love that was lost, resulting in their marriage on Oct. 22, 2011 and now their 1 year anniversary of that same bliss. As a toast to this wonderful year, they decided to release the love notes, into this intriguing collection. Not being vain, but perchance, someone reading this will find hope as they wait on The Lord for their special someone.

Hi Brother Steve:
I think it’s pretty cool that you’re so aware of the beauty in the things that most people run right over… sounds… smells… wherever you are right now. That means that you’re alive in His Presence… a wonderful place to be. You seem to be able to find joy in so many things. That is a blessing that comes from a heart of gratitude, knowing that the joy of the Lord is your strength.
You know, God has really done a wonderful work in you and for that I praise Him!
And yes, I’m smiling… .
Sis K

What a lovely thought you send to me… that I should continue in expectation. I have always believed that… . The Best is yet to Come" . . . I do have great expectations for my future and I do believe… Brother Steve… it is a wonderful feeling to remember good times from the past… . yet, I can’t help wondering now that God has saved us both… what He has in store for us. Individually… . collectively… your communications toward me are warm and I enjoy them…
Yet, How can we know what the Master intends?
Jeremiah 33:3 says "Call unto me and I will answer thee. And shrew thee great and mighty things that you know not of… .
Are you calling? I am!

Sister K… . you know all that we do become a part of us…
My motivation is much more than simply my written words but to give you that morning lift that we all need at times… . I give to you in my words the kindness and understanding that I feel from Our Lord who determines our environment now and in our past… . which leads me to truly know that You and I were placed together, in this environment, at this time, for, some reason… . do you believe that Sister?????
