Anna’S Miracles
()
About this ebook
to tell the simple story of how my husband. Stuart and I, fell
in love and lived an adventurous life. We were both raised
on ranches in West Texas Hill Country and when we became adults and married,
we moved out of our comfort zone and embraced a world far different than what
we knew as children.
We fi rst went to California, then to Washington, D. C., and later to other parts of
the United States, including Alaska. My husband helped build a tracking station
for the Air Force in Pretoria, South Africa, and in Alaska. Stuart was a Tech Rep for
Philco/Ford Corp; and we went from one state to another as the job required.
I was expected to set up housekeeping under various conditions, some were not
so easy, like living in Alaska and having to commute from one island to another
by sea plane.. Having to pack up and move whenever a job opened up even if it
meant having to follow Stuart later and not move with him. We managed to stay
together and make a good life for ourselves wherever we happened to be..
I have documented our many moves and our life as it fi nally settled down and we
found home back in Texas to raise our two daughters. Stuart became a Space
Scientist at NASA still employed by Philco/Ford/Loreal/Aerospace Division. In
1993, I was diagnosed with Stage IV, Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. The Doctors at
MD Anderson Cancer Center found cancer in both sides of my backbone and bone
marrow, fi ve tumors in my head, and 89 lymph nodes with cancer from the neck
down. I entered a 10 year Clinical Trial, and I was the only patient to survive . My
Doctor told me that My Jesus must have healed me, he could not explain why I
was still alive.
Our family faced many diffi culties during our life but we made it through by believing
in God and trusting in Him .
I hope my Journal brings hope to those who have diffi culties and think that they
are alone. God is real and still answers prayers today.

This is my journal of my life; it begins when I was a seventeen year old senior in high school and continues throughout my life until today when I am an eighty year old senior citizen. It just hits some of the high spots but it will allow my children and grandchildren to experience the challenges that we faced in the pursuit for our goals in life and how my husband and I accomplished them or didn’t. My husband and I always felt like we had a great life and we really enjoyed each other and each day we spent together. Faith, Hope, and Charity were all a part of our lives. We had a strong belief in God and we tried to live by His Commandments. We failed many times but we never stopped trying to do the right thing, and we always came back and asked His forgiveness and started anew. You will find a lot of Miracles in this story, as we share our life’s experiences with you. You decide which are supernatural. I think they all were.

INTRODUCTION
After Stuart’s death in 1992, I was diagnosed with Stage IV, Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and Dr. Younas and Dr. Weber gave me less than three months to live. Dr. Weber removed two cancer tumors from my head and found another on my jaw. He sent me to Dr. Younas in the Lymphoma Clinic of MD Anderson Cancer Hospital in Houston, and they found both sides of my backbone had cancer plus I had 89 tumors inside my body. Every lymph node had become cancerous.
I took a Clinical Trial of 11 chemo treatments and became the only patient to survive the ten year Clinical Trials. The cancer completely left my body including the bones and bone marrow.
At the end of my ten year Clinical Trial, my doctor told me that he and his associates had reviewed my records and they could find no reason why I should still be alive. Dr. Younas said to me, Anna, your Jesus must have healed you; we can find no other reason for you to still be alive.
I hope that you enjoy my life story, Stuart and I had fun living it. I hope it will inspire you to never give up Hope.

Stuart was 20 and Anna was 17.
I was born and raised on a ranch in the Hill Country of West Texas. My family lived on my father’s Leinweber family ranch. My father, Gerd Leinweber and my mother, Pearl Banta Leinweber, and their five children had moved from San Angelo to the ranch after my grandmother, Fannie Sims Leinweber had died and my grandfather, Louie Leinweber, had married a widow and moved off the ranch and into the city of Kerrville.
My father was the oldest child of his family and the only child that needed a home. His brother John who was the Postmaster in Ingram, and had a ranch adjunct to the family ranch, called my father and told him that he and his brothers and sister wanted Gerd to bring his family and come home to the ranch.
