Its battlements were broad, and its towers were tall, and on its flat roofs kite-bearers flew kites of different colors, shapes and sizes. The valley below was fertile and green, and the farmers grew and harvested a bounty of fruits and vegetables. The royal families were not greedy, and the peasants were not poor, and never in the history of this gentle kingdom had thieves entered the castle or stolen anything from their king. For every kingly heir, whom had ever sat upon the throne, was known for his generosity without borders and his laws without treachery.
Within the castle, there were two dogs, a cat, and a turtle named Bayleaf. And yet with all of this, something was missing, for although the royal couple was very much in love, they had no children.
006_a_sax.tifNow it just so happened that one day while the Queen was riding in her carriage, she caught sight of a puppet maker hanging his creations from the eave above his shop’s door. Upon her request, the carriage driver
