It was a warm, sunny May afternoon that promised more heat throughout the evening hours. Jacqueline Elizabeth was supposed to sit for her two younger brothers and sister; instead, she was sunning herself by the pool with her two best friends Molli and Sue while it was being cleaned.

Now Molli and Sue could use the sun because of their milk white complexions. On the other hand, Jacqueline was born with her tan and shouldn’t have needed to subject her skin to the sun’s harsh caresses.
