Favorite Quotes
Everything God spoke was poetry.
His miracles, His death, His love,
Was a great work of mystery,
Unfolding a light of truth,
A story of faith,
Of a relationship with us,
Taking us from questions to answers,
Into His peace and knowledge.
Listen
The Ocean Poet
The ocean is still etching out
Words of change in the sand
Speaking of love
Remembering those who came near
Touching the souls of feet
Over the shells washed clean
And pebbles refined by nature
Life will leave us to that
Souls refined by life’s ebb and flow
The rough edges gone
Smooth as the memory of love
Written in the sand
Erased and written again
We go there remembering.
Smiles
Leave me,
Something in writing,
Then I can see you,
After a pause in the day,
I’ll stop the ocean,
How the waves look,
Before they break,
Reading again the sun,
On our shoulders,
Holding time as if
It leaks from our hands,
Leaving salty drops,
Of I love you,
Across the page in silence
And smiles again, and again.
The Ocean
The ocean has it’s own poetry,
Ebbing and flowing,
The safari and bush
