A micro-trilogy in which natural life forms and automatons battle together against the Plaireoxytes, evil flying automatons, for survival on the small planet Jarstt. Fin delivers products from his fathers business to aquatic vessels on the open sea. While Fin is on a delivery, Doff, Fins father, is taken from his home by Plaireoxytes to appear before Stasq, the Plaireoxyte leader, in the Perch Tower. Stasq wants the Floraxis, a powerful shooting rod created by Doff for protection against the Plaireoxytes, to rid Jarstt of all natural life forms. Unaware of his fathers creation, Fin leaves his home to search for his father. Along the way, Fin finds some allies: Quisalo a shipping tycoon, Barleephethers an automaton, Tu-weech a small Daloonian, and Kaxx a former love. Stasq dispatches his assistant, Jepernip, to retrieve the Floraxis.

Chad James

Chad James was born Chad Everett James on March 26, 1972 in Houma, Louisiana. He is a Waterworks Technician for Consolidated Waterworks District No.1 in Terrebonne Parish. He assists in the operation of two water treatment plants where he also collects water samples to perform laboratory analysis tests. Chad is a single man (never married, no children) who resides in Houma, Louisiana.

EXT. JARSTT—ATMOSPHERE—NIGHT

ZOOMING through the clouds to the tropical island of Prahyend on the planet Jarstt.

EXT. PRAHYEND—BEACH—RAINSTORM—NIGHT

A SQUAD OF PLAIREOXYTES, six-foot black with black eyes and black wings flying automatons, glides to a marking in the sand.

PLAIREOXYTE OFFICER

Everyone in position.

The PLAIREOXYTE OFFICER scans the beach and sees the lights of a lodge in the distance.

EXT. PRAHYEND—LODGE—RAINSTORM—NIGHT

The SQUAD OF PLAIREOXYTES flies into position and surrounds the lodge.

INT. LODGE—RAINSTORM—NIGHT

DOFF, a five-foot-eight seventy-year-old light skinned bald man with blue eyes, walks to a table full of gadgets. DOFF sits in a chair and starts working on a black gadget.

A PLAIREOXYTE flies through the entrance door. DOFF pulls out his laser gun and BLASTS the PLAIREOXYTE. FOUR PLAIREOXYTES fly in and apprehend DOFF. The PLAIREOXYTE OFFICER walks to DOFF.

DOFF

What is the meaning of all this?

The PLAIREOXYTE OFFICER pulls out a slipscreen.

PLAIREOXYTE OFFICER

Watch and listen.

DOFF looks at the hovering Plaireoxyte slipscreen of STASQ, the six-foot black with green eyes and green wings Plaireoxyte leader, with anticipation.

STASQ

Doff, I want the Floraxis.

DOFF

I cannot give you what I do not have.

STASQ

You will Doff, or I will destroy Prahyend.

DOFF

You would not dare.

STASQ

It would not be a dare, but an honor.

EXT. PRAHYEND—BEACH—RAINSTORM—NIGHT

The section of the beach with the marking in the sand EXPLODES.

INT. LODGE—RAINSTORM—NIGHT

DOFF looks down in shame.

STASQ

I know you do not have possession of the Floraxis. You will give me the Floraxis when you arrive in Symtrexli. Doff, I do not trust you. You will either create devices for Plaireoxytes or you will not create anymore devices because you will not exist.

DOFF

No!

STASQ

(to the Plaireoxytes)

Take him into custody.

PLAIREOXYTE

Yes, Stasq.

The PLAIREOXYTE OFFICER turns off the slipscreen and it falls to the floor. DOFF shakes his head in disgust.

EXT. KLYL SEA—MODIFIED AQUASLED—RAINSTORM—DAY

The aquasled speeds over the surface of the water with the island of Prahyend in the distance.

INT. MODIFIED AQUASLED—COCKPIT—RAINSTORM—DAY

FIN, a five-foot-eight twenty-five-year-old light skinned man with shaggy blonde hair and blue eyes, sits at the controls.

FIN

(speaking into the radio)

Fin, preparing to arrive.

STATIC.

FIN

(continuing)

Fin, preparing to arrive. Requesting clearance from Doff.

STATIC.

FIN aggressively grabs the radio.

FIN

(continuing)

Father, answer me! This is Fin. I am requesting clearance
