Maleshia Lewis was born and raised in Baton Rouge La. I started writing when I lost three people that was special to me it hurted me a lot to lose them and I didn’t know what way to get thought so I grabbed a pen and a piece of paper. I then started writing poems and I saw that my family would enjoy them so I said that I would make it out a career and I am. I am now writing books my first book is A Woman and the Men that Loves her. I will be on my second book it will be called A little something about me. I am still writing my books in my office in Baton Rouge La.

Chapter One

Aye Tamern yeah I’m down here in the basement looking for some pictures of me when I was a little girl. Tamern told to her sister Jalisa. There parents had two children Jalisa was just two years older than Tamern. Every since they where younger every one said that Tamern was the prettiest little girl that they ever saw she had light brown eyes when you look in them it’s like you are watching the sun set. Tamern was a brighter version of her mother with long hair that stop to her shoulder it wasn’t curly but it was straight and a bright red. She was one hundred and twenty pounds and very spoiled by her parents and husband. Tamern asked Jalisa to help her look for the pictures in the basement at there parents house that was in the box Jalisa looked and said what the fuck I look like helping you look for some old pictures huh. Tamern told Jalisa why you got to be so mean to me all the time huh. Jalisa said just because you got a new two storage house that has six bedrooms and bathrooms with a build in pool and movie theater. You have two luxury cars and don’t get me wrong its very nice but you don’t have to be all happy and shit. We still are family you just got a husband that loves you plus Tamern you are married to one of the biggest drug dealers in Baton Rouge so hold all that noise you twenty four years old with no children.

I’m twenty six years old with four children that I cant take care of them with out the help of mama or daddy why because the twins daddy got murdered and they only get one hundred in forty dollars a month. The other two daddy’s are in jail and child support not helping me. Tamern looked at her sister and got up and gave her the biggest hug that she could possible give she gabbed her purse keys and pictures gave her two favorite people a hug and kiss told them she loved them and left. Tamern got in to her pearl white Range Rover with her name in silver written in carom in the back seat there was a picture of her and her husband on there wedding day. Before she pulled off she put on her favorite song Distant Lovers by Lil Boosie that she only listened to when she thought about her husband and she song along with the lyrics. Tamern went to where her husband Keith was at in a place called CC Lockdown and it was the projects for real.

He was finishing off his last consumer Keith looked at the pearl white Range Rover with silver carom on it he smiled and said there is my baby he left off the porch and came to the truck and she rolled down the window slowly. He gave her along passioned kiss like they where the only ones there at that moment in time. He finally let go and when he did they both smiled. Tamern asked you got my money he looked and said that’s what you came for yeah what else imma come for huh. He went in to his pocket and counted her out five gees and put it in her hand she said that’s my boy and he said I’ll see you later get out of her before I have to fuck one of this niggas up. Tamern did as she told and went home. When she got home she went to pre pare dinner she made her husband favorite food which was baked chicken, corn bread dressing, muster greens and green beans. She went up to take along hot bath in to her man came home she bathed slowly and took her time. When she got out she waited for her husband but he took longer than she thought. She ate along and put the food up. She went up her wrap around stairs and got in to her king size bed. She couldn’t
