Authors Bio
This book is dedicated to all the women who
poured their souls into me.
To my mother, Carolyn Walton, who poured every ounce of passion,
fight, and the will to endure into the fiber of my being. I love you.
Your daughter,
Katina L. Walton
In the name of Goodness…
I believe in magic. I believe in the sacred secret and wonder of women, and know that every one made—from the youngest of us to the oldest of us—has tucked deep within the Word of her Self… the Who/What/ and Why of her… the thing that must be expressed and shared and revered. That. That something that is so powerful, it is completely misunderstood, even by us! The real beauty of this Word, however, is that it never leaves. Even in our neglect of acknowledging it. It is there. Waiting in the holiest, and most divine way, for us to say, I am courageous. I am brave… and I am ready!
Finally.
So, now… She speaks!
She speaks love, wisdom, joy, hurt, pain, suffering, struggle, hope, peace, and the list goes on. The point is that when She speaks, the Universe listens. Everything that bears her mark, everything that carries within it the She Word
, hears her prayer and rejoices! Truth is, all of humanity awaits her Word, her light. Even the slightest of syllables uttered by the Divine One sheds more light on the path than a hundred lanterns. As I write, I am reminded of one of our fore mothers, mother/wife/writer/anarchist, Lucy Parsons, who was described by the Chicago Police Department as . . . More dangerous than a thousand rioters…
HA! But, that’s what happens when She speaks. Transformation. Hurricanes. Tornadoes. Flood. Movement. Her Word is Scripture. Mdu Ntr. Odu. She speaks in glyphs and symbols. She is hard and soft.
She is…
