The type of Mother you are determines the World you leave behind....the future is so much bigger and more important than our personal pain...it's hard but we womben must always diligently cultivate daily better and better character and more Joy and Love because we are what the children see and love...and judge.... What are your children seeing? What world will you leave behind as the mirror of your heart? Your Love is your reality. Your propensity to love and Will to love. How much love you have, are, give, and receive was all that ever really mattered. Focus on your own smile and find it radiated to others and reflected back a thousand fold.....sit and watch your own eyes dance in the mirror as you gaze At Peace With Yourself finally and...exhale.....you are your world. Do you love you? Are you beautiful-- to YOU? maybe that's the way the world looks to you. If you see ugliness outside, look first within. When you see Love within, you Love everyone, even so called enemies because they too are beautiful reflections of you...me...we....Divinity....Namaste. is the Latin word for mother, as well as nurturing, caring, as well as educating (hence the Latin root of matriculate
which pertains to schooling). Matter is a play on Mother as well as education (as in the subject of the matter
) or information (as in the matter at hand
) and also an allusion to the #BlackLivesMatter phenomenon going on in our world right now on social media dealing with the ongoing police brutality.
Other editions of the book feature photography by my 3 year old daughter Shakyra. In fact, it is her picture of me on the front cover of the special edition. It was her photo that inspired me to release this book. I didn't know she had taken the photo one day when I wasn't paying attention on the laptop. When I found the picture later cleaning out my phone storage, it made me realize the ways our children watch us mothers, especially mother to daughter. I found it to
