Her work largely focuses on spirituality, various emotional states, and has black feminist themes. She started writing at ten years-old and her love writing followed her into her teens, which resulted in her placing bronze in the Louder Than A Bomb Nationwide Youth Poetry Slam in 2016. She is a recent graduate of Ohio University in Athens, Ohio where she graduated with a B.A. in Communications with a minor in Spanish.
