"Actually this poem was written by me in 1973 it was the first poem I ever wrote and it was an English assignment my English teacher said write a poem or an essay I didn't feel like writing that many words lol so I wrote this poem and he told me I should go to creative writing classes I never got the chance to go my son was born in 1975 and kind of put a pause to my plans."

To all my family, friends, and fans. I was born in Rochester Minnesota May 26th 1959. My family moved to Arizona when I was 10 years old I have 2 brothers and 3 sisters Chuck , Sue , Dawn, David , and Cheri. I first started writing poetry when I was 14 years old as a class assignment, instead of writing a 500 word essay I decided to write a poem which is the first poem in the Love poems section. My English teacher Mr. Kessler at Trevor G Browne High school suggested I go to creative writing classes, I was not able to do that because my son was born Jan 1975 In Dec 1983 I met a man that has 2 other children we would marry on June 30th 1984 which is exactly 6 months after our first date and been married going on 25 years. He is the inspiration for all my love poems I have other inspirations for my other poems, like God’s Canvas was written after seeing a sunset I hope you will all like my book of poetry as much as I enjoyed writing them had all these poems at Poets.com if you write poetry you can have other people rate your poetry and you can rate theirs as well
