This book would not be complete without giving tribute to the following:
My four lovely grandchildren, who, needless to say, served as my inspiration, let alone provided the subject matter for this story;
Danny, my son-in-law, who suggested the word tales
for the title of the book;
My sister, Marilou, and her son, Joseph, who painstakingly typed and deciphered my handwritten manuscript;
Chony, my eldest sister, who provided much-needed support and encouragement;
My brother Cial, my niece Nancy, and my sister Monina, and her son, Blueboy, who sent photos from home;
My beloved daughter, Jeannie, who was my consultant, editor, and secretary all rolled into one.
To them, I offer my undying gratitude, appreciation and love . . .
