Author

Robert L. Caldwell

Robert L. Caldwell Is just “A Chip from Above” and he gives Almighty God “PRAISES” every chance that he gets. He was inspired to write the words contained on the pages of this little book with the aid of the HOLY SPIRIT, family and friends. The Lord has allowed him to fulfill a life time dream of becoming a linehaul professional truck driver. And now, for a decade, this dream has been a reality. Being on the road allows him to reflect and meditate on the Goodness of the Lord. He has been married to the love of his life (Bettie) for the past 41 years and they are the proud parents of 3 children, Eldridge, Kory Alexander & Kyra Monet. He has one daughter-in-law, Juan and two beautiful grand children, Tyler and Imani. The family pet’s name is Sebastin. He believe that his calling is to be an encourager and he hope that this little book will touch the lives of those who read it.

These writings are dedicated to my mother, the late Hassie Doll Caldwell and to the memories of Acie and Emma Caldwell, who reared me and gave what they knew how to give from their hearts. Thank you to my wife Bettie R. Caldwell, for her encouragement and support of whom I love dearly, my mother-in-law Louise Johnson, my sister Corrie Rogers and my brother-in-law Williams A. Rogers, and my cousin Freddie M. Gross. To a few friends, thank you, to Michael Goings, Chocolate, Anthony Fishman Martin, Vejay, Chapman, Dianna Coffee, June Winfred, Biggum, and to my Spiritual Leader the Reverend James A. Williams.

Thanks for the push for me to keep doing this.

Some jobs offer long hours, low pay and difficult language, but the Bible offers all the hours of our life. Spiritual reward is our pay, very hard to understand things that seem to be simply stated, but if we are in the right spirit the understanding comes easy. Selah!

    INTRODUCTION

These words of encouragement for your daily walk were inspired through the Holy Spirit, conversing with my wonderful wife, who is my Nubian Queen, my darling daughter, who is my Nubian Princess, my sons who are my Nubian Princes and through conversations with friends and unfamiliar faces. During our conversations, their responses inspired some of these writings. The Holy Spirit would awaken me during the early hours of the mornings and place a thought into my mind and I would be compelled to text it to numerous family members and friends.

The Greatest story ever told is that Jesus Christ died and lived again, well! The Greatest story became the Greatest Truth. As we live our lives through our daily walk, we will at some point have mountains to climb and valleys to cross, but we must hold fast to the Word of truth.

We must dream but not be a dreamer. We must talk but say something. We need to hear, but also be a listener in conversation we all need to be heard! Right?

Is there a dream within? Please keep it alive… hold onto the fire and keep working towards it as long as you do not become the sleeper. Some dreams are forgotten by the time you awaken. Be consistent with much persistency it is your dream. I hope that something that is written within the boundaries of this little book will encourage you, as you walk daily through this journey call Life. Meditate on this!
