About this ebook
It hopes to answer why and how the hopes and aspirations of our people have been ruined due to corrupt politicians, intellectuals, and bureaucrats.
It hopes to answer why and how the evil totalitarian took place and how the current tyranny has been strengthened in such a horrific stage that the peace-loving people cant express their opinion under the ferocity of Sheikh Hasina.
In my writings, I have described the historical background of our country up to the modern tyrannical era, which shouldnt exist anywhere on the face of the planet in the twenty-first century.
In my writings, I have described how such an atrocious regime has been strengthened and why shouldnt they be forgiven. Freedom and liberty are the utmost universal values that no human being can sacrifice.
In this book, I have passionately written my views based on the real scenarios of Bangladesh and mixed with some essays and poems.
Knowing all about the risks, I believe that to live as human beings, we cant surrender to any dictator or oppressive regime. Surrendering to them will strengthen the evils, and we must restrain them by any means.
No evil regime should represent any country or a nation or deny the very fundamental rights of their people. And Bangladesh is not an exception.
My main objective in writing this book is to protect the people of our country, Bangladesh, and its sovereignty. God bless Bangladesh and the entirety of mankind.

Bangladesh is a part of the UN family as well.
Size: 55,598 sq. miles
Population in 1971: 75 million
Currently: Over 164.4 millions
Here are a few vital questions posed to the readers and to the world leaders:
Can we live without universal values, liberty and dignity, as human beings?
Can we protect our values under any repressive administration?
Our freedom fighters picked up the arms for our liberation in 1971.
Why shouldn’t I pick up my pen for the cause of my country now?
Why should grisly regimes exist anywhere in the world?
Why should we revere the corruption of demised leaders?
Are the solemnity of our history and our sovereignty protected?
Why are a few sadists wreaking havoc on our hard-earned Bangladesh?
Who conspired and killed fifty-seven high-ranking army officers in February 2009?
Why are the majority of the peace lovers hostages of some sadists?
Why are our liberty and dignity being denied by the totalitarians?
Why should the outsiders aid the current tyrant thugs?
Why shouldn’t totalitarians be prosecuted?
Who are supporting these sadists and why?
How many evils need to ruin a nation and mankind?
How many evils need to destroy a society and a country?
How many evils need to ruin a family?
How did the few sadists become so powerful?
Can myths and propaganda protect us?
If justice is the precondition of peace, can we live without it?
Isn’t it imperative to hold them accountable and bring them to justice?
If yes, then let’s do it now to protect our country from further catastrophes.
Let’s condemn the outsiders who are aiding our domestic traitors.

I welcome you to go through my writings. You are strictly forbidden to modify my writings with inclusions or exclusions or to copy it by any means without my consent. Violators will be prosecuted under copyright law. Any attempt to fabricate or use these writings will be dealt with seriously to the maximum extent of the law.
The reason for my writing is simply to express my views intuitively and share with the people of Bangladesh and the rest of the world how to protect our national interests from corrupt politicians and bureaucrats. This is now being published as a book with different titles, but it is also the continuation of my previous book, "It Was Glorious: Not a Cheap Shot".
Even though this book is literally meant for Bangladesh, as a global family my endeavor is to reach out to the massive scale of the people of all over the world to share their views as well. Indeed, the readers will make up their mind to accept or reject my opinions.
Despite extreme constraint on my time, I have a strong desire to write more and will do so if I feel it is necessary for our people and for our country. I’ve already received some enthusiastic responses from some readers.
This book sounds pretty revolutionary, but to defy tyranny there is no other rational alternative than writing with factual data. The falsification and propaganda about the real issues are the evil means to distort the people. Distortion with myths and erratic means is an evil act, and we must reject this for the greater cause of our country and our nation.
I do not believe in any violence with weapons. I believe in peace. I also believe the pen is mightier than the sword. I’m not safe in my country at all under the current atrocious regime even in the USA because of their distorted fanatic loyalists.
Any attempt to ban my writings will be the act of denial of my freedom of expression with factual issues and will be subject to automatic lawsuit against the current regime in the international court or in the legitimate judicial and justice system in Bangladesh, if any. But the current justice system is within the tyrant’s control.
None of my family members nor my friends and relatives is involved with or aware of my writings. If anything happens to me or to my family members, the current regime will be fully responsible for all costs and consequences.
My further request is that you please go through my writings without missing any little part of it. You may discover the answers to your questions and concerns.
I believe this is ideal for all times and people in all walks of life including students, teachers, business communities, politicians, bureaucrats, civilians and military authorities, etc.
May the force be with you!
type embellishments.tifDedication
First and foremost, I would like to dedicate this book to my parents who raised me with high moral and ethical values.
My father, the late Alhaj Ramizuddin Sarker, and my mother, Aklima Begum, went through lot of tragedy in the later stage of their lives but never broke down. They remained steadfast in what they believed in as real human beings.
As I was born and raised by them, my personality began to develop with the same values ever since my childhood. Their tragedies significantly affected my life as well, but nothing could prevent me from holding the values I inherited.
Second, I dedicate my writings mainly to the martyrs: Salam, Barkat, Rafiq, and many others who dedicated their lives and were the part of our language movement of our mother tongue Bangla on February 21, 1952.
I also dedicate my writings to those who dedicated their lives and contributed in all possible means during our Liberation War including men, women, children, students, teachers, labors, farmers, politicians, intellectuals, and all those who didn’t take any advantage for their own selfish reasons.
My writings are not dedicated to those who had illusions of their own establishment and changed their disgraceful fortune at the cost of the sufferings of the massive number of our people since our independence. They were working as wicked poker faces and dismayed the hopes and aspirations of our freedom-loving people. The current generation can do nothing about their horrific fate.
I would like to praise those who played heroic roles in the most difficult crisis of our nation during the period of March 25, 1971, to December 16, 1971. Among them, I specifically would like to mention and name the martyr president Ziaur Rahman who not only declared the independence of Bangladesh but also revolted against the Pakistani military leaders with distinct courage and fought with other heroes in the war field until our glorious victory.
The martyr Zia was not only our national hero but also a man of superior character who served our country as a soldier and as a statesman until the last moment of his life, with no illusion of his own.
As Bangladeshis how can we deny his following and the declaration of independence of Bangladesh at the epoch-making time of the history of our nation?
This is Shadhin Bangla Betar Kendra. I, Major Ziaur Rahman on behalf of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, hereby declare that the independent People’s Republic of Bangladesh has been established. I have taken command as the temporary Head of the Republic. I call upon all Bangalis to rise against the attack by the West Pakistani Army. We shall fight to the last to free our Motherland. By the grace of Allah, Victory is ours.
The current regime is not only acting as an atrocious monster of Bangladesh but also denying our history! They expunged the name of the martyr Ziaur Rahman from our history and from some national symbols bearing his name in honor of his outstanding contribution to our nation.
Hasina and her loyalists erratically argue that Zia didn’t declare the independence of Bangladesh. May I courteously ask her and her loyalists what did happen when then Bangabandhu (BB) was arrested on March 25, 1971, and what happened immediately after until December 16, 1971? Where was BB? If he would have declared the Liberation of Bangladesh, why was it necessary to declare the same by somebody else? Wasn’t a vacuum of leadership created instantly especially when there was no alternative but war?
Why didn’t the people of Bangladesh question why BB declared the independence of Bangladesh? There was a good reason why he didn’t—because if he would have, he would have been convicted as a subversive by the Pakistani brutal rulers and faced the potentiality of the death penalty.
Besides, on February 22, 1971, he was asked by the journalists if he was ready to declare independence of Bangladesh on March 07, 1971. His answer was, not yet. He also stated that he wanted to be the prime minister of an undivided Pakistan at least for one day.
The Pivotal Part of BB’s Speeches of March 7 and 25, 1971: Yes, BB talked about the freedom and liberation of Bangladesh but very vaguely. In his speech he said,
If a single shot is triggered to our people, and if they (the Westerners) kill our people, my request to you (the Easterners) is that please be prepared to face our enemies with whatever (unconventional weapons) you have. This time our struggle is for freedom, this time our struggle is for our liberation. As we have already given our blood, we will do more. And yet, we will liberate our country
Insa-Allah (by the grace of Allah).
*The above content is written from my memory when I was a teenager during that heated time of our history, because like everybody else, I was one of his strongest supporters.
This was a very powerful message to the West, but was it a precise declaration of the independence of Bangladesh? Certainly, it wasn’t. That’s why his statement was quite vague and was not the declaration of the independence of Bangladesh. Zia finished BB’s unfinished mission with the precise declaration. The martyr Zia not only accomplished the precise declaration of Bangladesh but also led the war until our glorious victory. Talking about something and doing something are not the same.
Hasina’s regime mean-spiritedly denies our true history and distorts our current generation. Her cabinet member Suranjit Sen Gupta said that to acknowledge the declaration of the independence of Bangladesh by Zia is quite absurd. Absurd! Where have you been for so many years, Suranjit? Shame on you! You may get lost but don’t mislead the current generation.
No matter what is in your mind, don’t falsify our history. Myth is your way of life but not that of the real Bangladeshis. Forty years later, you came up with this propaganda. If you are a real Bangladeshi, did you ever raise your voice against your lord India who is systematically killing our innocent people in the border areas? You don’t have the guts to say that you did.
Hasina has taken away the house that was unanimously honored to the martyr Zia’s family after his assassination for his outstanding services that he rendered to our nation until the last moment of his life just because of jealousy and personal enmity!
She is cowardly using her brutal forces against the family members of the martyr Zia, his party members of BNP, and the vast majority of our peace-loving people. But can she expunge the disgraceful history of her family that our nation would never forget?
She can obliterate the martyr Zia’s name from various institutions, but she can’t expunge his name and fame from the hearts of the consciences of the people of Bangladesh. Zia’s glory is much more radiant because of his nobility, his heroism, his honesty, and his dedication for our country and our nation. And his name will come back with glory. Just watch and see.
They (the Awami League) believed in hostility, atrocity, and corruption. Thus they became evil-mighty. When they are out of power they become deadly violent, and when they are in power they become tyrant dictators. This is why: the oldest party Awami League (AL) became the oddest to the people of Bangladesh. The AL is known to the people as the party of hostility and atrocity.
Don’t you remember what they did on October 28, 2006? Didn’t they attack their opponents with poles, oars, and other sharp weapons and ruthlessly kill twenty-eight people and dance on their bodies? And didn’t they wound hundreds of others, most of whom died in the aftermath? Didn’t they engage in destructive hortal (strike) during their whole term almost on a regular basis as opponents until the emergency was inevitable?
Didn’t their leaders threaten civil war prior to the emergency? Didn’t their leaders threaten to blaze the whole country unless their illegal demands were accepted?
Knowing all about this, how can you, her supporters, stand by these atrocious thugs and support them? Why should the rest of the world support them? How did you even elect this party and others, the so-called grand alliance (Mohajot)? In fact, most of you didn’t vote for them. Your votes were looted.
Remember, doing a crime and supporting the same is the same crime. What did you expect from your leaders, and what did they pledge to you prior to the election, and what are you getting now? Don’t you feel guilty supporting such destructive and distrustful leaders?
The time is now to acknowledge your mistakes and fight back to protect the sovereignty of our country. In fact, they didn’t obtain power with your votes. Your votes were looted by the robbers of illegitimate CG of Fakhruddin andMoeen Uddin.
Evil myths and propaganda can obscure the light of the truth for a limited time as long as the evil clouds exist, but the truth will never die. The darkness of myths will die down by itself against the power of the truth.
Evils die disgracefully and get lost in the dark even within the nearest reach, but the truth carries the light and sparks from distant darkness.
The current generation shouldn’t be distorted by myths and propaganda. All of us should embrace the truth and reject the ideas of myths and conspiracy to protect our country and our nation.
I, as a person, never did surrender to any evil-might and never will by the grace of the Almighty Creator and the Sustainer. I will not go out to the street with weapons. Neither have I asked you to do so. I believe in peace and the victory of the truth.
I also would like to send a strong message to those destructionists not to turn back to the same regressive dark chapter of our history that didn’t forgive them in the past. The best choice is to take a lesson from the true history and move forward denying the myths and propaganda.
Let’s stand strong for the truth and reject the myths.
My earnest request to all readers is to please read everything I have written and do not leave out any little part of it. I hope you will enjoy it.
May the force be with you!
type embellishments.tifPreface
This book contains very serious issues about the current political plight of Bangladesh. As freedom-loving people, Bangladeshis earned their liberation in 1971 from Pakistan at the cost of millions of lives and bloodshed since 1952.
It also contains the reasons for the sacrifice of the people of Bangladesh and why and how the hopes and aspirations of the people were ruined by the distrustful leaders of the past—those we trusted the most.
We have experienced both devastations and glory after the liberation of our country. We wouldn’t have been freed from Pakistan if our freedom fighters from all levels didn’t fight to their death to liberate our country in 1971.
Sadly enough, our shameless leaders didn’t pay any respect to those precious lives. Rather, they were sunk into the depths of awful corruption, nepotism, cronyism, and so on to change their disgraceful fortune soon after our liberation. As a result, they couldn’t last long and ended up in horrible situations.
Astonishingly enough, our current regime of Sheikh Hasina didn’t learn a lesson; rather, they are desperate to follow the same horrific failed policies that caused unprecedented doom to their ancestors.
Instead of learning any lesson from the true
