In retirement, he writes for sheer personal pleasure and the enjoyment of family and friends. His extensive body of work effectively mixes nostalgia, humour, opinion and inspiration. He contributes regularly to his Wrights Lane web site and has produced a companion publication to Dresden Life, simply titled "Wrights Lane...Come On In".
