My name is Linda Hayslett, I am writing using my maiden name of Outlaw. Living in a beautiful community in Winchester, Virginia called Clear Brook, we are off the beaten path, having lived here for three years gaining access to our home from a gravel road. I have always enjoyed writing. My passion is cooking and working in my flower gardens which is poetry in and of itself. I love living in the country with the wildlife and all the night sounds (night critters). And the sound of a night train off in the distance. Being inspired by my favorite singer, k.d. lang to write this poetry. She warms my heart, and my soul when I hear her sing, see her smile, or look into her eyes. Beautiful all. Biggie B and Little Little are my two cats. I love them dearly. Real characters with out of this world personalities. Please Enjoy.
