God Really Works All Things out for Your Good!

About this ebook
This book is for Christians, especially for those who have wondered how life can get so far off the course they expected. (Doesnt that really include us all?)
Modeline Fenelon, Esq., examines the scriptures to prove unequivocally how God can take your life and turn it into something that works, ultimately, for your good. She uses biblical illustrations and modern-day stories to back up this truth.
Modeline will have you agreeing that God is not predictable and that His methods are not always easy to understand. Yet youll be convinced that if you are committed to Him and His ways, He will somehow amazingly work all things together for your good.
Modeline Fenelon
Modeline Fenelon is a physical manifestation of the biblical words “taste and see.” Her internal joy in Christ has manifested into a visible taste for life. With a ready smile always on her face and a song in her voice, Modeline is a bright, sunny, and giving personality who loves bringing joy and light to those who call her “friend,” myself included. She enjoys activities such as shopping, painting, singing, and going out with friends. An adventurer, she is always willing to try new things; new things that don’t “vex my soul,” she would say. Modeline’s exuberant personality has resulted in a wealth of friends from all backgrounds, the benefit of which is a wealth of opportunities to witness the greatness and creativity of God. Like the fast-paced city she calls home, Modeline tirelessly works to help those she encounters find purpose through her gift of song, and desires to help others accept and believe in one simple truth: that you are powerful in God and in God alone. On weekends, Modeline devotes her time to the Brooklyn Tabernacle church as a choir member where she uses her voice to minister to the congregation, as well as serving in other ministries there. She also spends time as a radio personality for Christian programming. A consummate advocate, Modeline has used her platform as a lover of Christ to encourage others by creating a series called “The Living Epistle Project” where she documents modern everyday heroes in their lives, their struggles, and their faith and ultimate victory in Jesus Christ. By day, Modeline works as an attorney, advocating for those in need from various areas of law. If one word can be used to describe Modeline, that word is “Ministry.” —Loudie Valcourt, Esq.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
A ny success in my life worth highlighting is a result of the people God has placed in my life. I truly believe as Jesus has blessed me with visions and projects, He has strategically placed people in my life with the skills needed to bring these visions and projects to fruition. To that end, I want to acknowledge them.
If you are in my life and your name is not mentioned here—know that you have still played a significant role in my growth. I have taken the opportunity to learn from everyone in my life and I thank God for each of you.
I thank God for my family (specifically my dad, my four sisters, my four nieces and my three nephews). You have played an important role in developing me into the person I am today. I am especially thankful to my mother, Dieuramene Fenelon, who is singing all the praises that are due our God, in the presence of the Bright Morning Star. She left me a priceless legacy of faith by her example of loving Jesus through her suffering! I am her testimony, though she is not here to see it. Her suffering was not in vain. She brought me into this world as her baby girl but left me as her sister in the Lord.
There have been two women in my life who have modeled biblical faith and lifestyle to me—my natural mother being one of them and my mentor and spiritual mother, Geralene Hunt, being the other. Geralene Hunt, while God used my natural mother in the beginning to build my faith, He used you at a pivotal point in my life and continues to use you to sharpen my faith. Thank you for pointing out what God saw in me.
Elaudys Garcia (Ella), I did not think that there was another young person so similar in character, and then I met you. You have been used in more ways than you know to encourage me. The fact that there is another who will not bow
is strengthening. Thank you for your excitement when I shared the vision to write God Really Works All Things Out for Your Good! Michelle Rattray, you have been my Barnabas.
Gerry Lutzel, Loudie Valcourt (Lulu), Pastor Alex Burgos and Joanna Robinson, you helped by reviewing and assisting with choosing a book size and cover. Every input was helpful. Thank you for your contributions. Andrea Howard and my niece Alisha Aristel, thank you for your contributions as well.
Thank you Bernard Lewis, Iryna Makaruk, and the dear author of Our Journey from Tears to Joy through Gratitude
who chose to remain anonymous, for contributing your stories to the book. Your testimonies are impactful and inspiring! Daneilia Francis, thank you for letting God use you to send me that text.
Rachel Hunt, what can I say? To say this book could not have been possible without you is not a cliché. You put the same energy and efforts into editing as I put into writing. I thank God for gifting you with the ability of giving attention to details and arrangement (the gift of making things look beautiful). I know the Hunt family as a whole was involved behind the scene, so thank you to each and every one of you.
Thank you to the great staff at Westbow Press Publishing for bringing the vision of this book to fruition. Both your patience and your expertise are greatly appreciated.
Lastly, my utmost gratitude goes to my Savior, my Lord, my King, my Comforter, my Hope, the Source of my inspiration, Lover of my soul and my heart—Jesus Christ. He is the reason life makes sense. He is magnificent and He is not to be compared. Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!
(Revelation 7:12 NIV).
FOREWORD
W hat do sincere, professing Christians do when life hands them terribly difficult and unpleasant situations to endure? You know the sort of circumstances we are talking about—the kind that has your head spinning and doubts bombarding your mind as you try to make sense of it all. It’s the sort of thing that demands a response.
Some Christians will decide, Just forget this Christianity thing if this is how it works. This is just not what I signed up for.
Other Christians will have a pity party and conclude, God just doesn’t love me anymore.
Still another response will be a temper tantrum that screams, God, You have failed me this time.
Some Christians, however, will say, I think I’ll read God’s document again and see if there’s an explanation for what is going on. Maybe I missed something the first time I read it.
Of course, Christians are humans who are subject to a wide range of emotions. They often go through several stages of feelings before they get
