    hello.

                meant to say this, before

    we shot icicles as arrows

    from Cupid’s quiver that froze

    but..

                I was on the moon then, baby

    and honestly,

    I can’t imagine life with—

    —The person you are trying to reach is unavaila—

    it felt good, at first

    the way your soft rays kissed my skin

    your warmth slowly traveling

    across the lines atop my skeleton

    but then you began to burn

    consuming flesh

    until i was nothing

    but crumbling dried bone

    so here i am,

    ashes in a bottle

    addicted to your sunburn

    hoping that maybe tomorrow

    you will rise across the horizon

    and find me

    once again

    Bottle in Sea

    it seems perfect now

    the morning sun

    kissing our cheeks,

    but at some point

    light will sneak past horizon lines

    leaving both of us behind

    with nothing

    but sheets soaked in memories

    incompatible.
