Amazon developed something called Fulfilment by Amazon that works a lot like eBay but is much better in my opinion.

eBay has been the only place to sell things online for some time. eBay is fantastic, but it requires a lot of effort on your part: buying, pricing, packaging, customer support, etc.


If you plan to sell online, then you should take Amazon's distribution program called FBA much into consideration. FBA stands for Fulfilment by Amazon, making it a fulfillment company. A fulfillment firm provides storage and shipping services for the products of its customers.


FBA is interesting in that Amazon is also the distributor for those products, so they have an active interest in seeing the goods sold. What makes FBA even more impressive is that its products even count for delivery discounts from Amazon including Free Super Saver Delivery and Amazon Prime.

It is important to understand how FBA works, and how FBA is used by other companies.


Amazon buyers are using Prime to get shipping for free. They invest more quickly in items like food, chocolate, tea, socks, toilet paper, soap, detergent, and so on. We are spending a lot more because consumers are totally trusting Amazon. That's good for sellers because it means you're going to make more and sell more.
