For hours on end, you would lay in your room, sit at the kitchen table or sprawl out on the living room floor surrounded by crayons, markers and pencils drawing an endless array of figures and shapes in a variety of colors. Through doodling you could enter a world where anything was possible and everything that you could think and dream made sense.

As you got older, doodling was looked upon as being lazy and inattentive. Throughout junior high and high school, you would sit bored in science or social studies class filling your pages of your spiral notebook with sketches and assorted doodles that were mixed in with random lecture notes.
