WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT THIS BOOK

Writing is classed as an art, and if you have it, it is a gift to own and explore. Some might have the notion that ‘you need to be born with the art of writing'.  If that is your thought, this book tells you otherwise. I would say this is a comprehensive, easy to read, straightforward guide for writing, publishing, and commercialising the art of writing.

The book does not only give you the necessary information for writing, publishing and selling ‘your dream book’ in a short period. It exhibits a proven theory that can be now practised over and over again.

Thanks to Florence Igboayaka for this beautiful book

    CHAPTER 1:

YES, YOU CAN WRITE THAT BOOK!

You can be one of the few that finish writing their books and in record time too.

Often when I ask people to put their knowledge or skill in writing for the benefit of others I almost always get a response that goes like this: 'I am not a writer' or 'Are you kidding me?’ or 'I cannot write,' and the list of excuses goes on. But I am here to tell you that against popular belief, people are not born writers. Instead, writing can be learned and gets better with practice. Sorry to burst that bubble!

All I am trying to say is that you, yes, you can write, and I will be showing you how. Not long ago, I was like you. I was quick to reject any confirmation of my writing abilities. I started writing a series called 'Inspiration Tuesday' on some of my social media handles some years ago. I used those platforms to inspire and encourage people. A few people encouraged me to put the collection of the series into a book, but I would vehemently refuse and respond, 'Oh me? No! I am not a writer'. Funny, right? If someone had told me three years ago that I would be a bestselling author, I would have laughed and believed they were mocking me, but today the story is different. My first book -The Period Comic has had such great global impact, helping several lives daily.  I have also been invited to different speaking engagements including radio and TV.

You can develop your writing skill. Just like a child is not born writing, but starts with making sounds and learns to speak and eventually learns how to write, right? So, there
