Dave Hernandez

Dave developed an insatiable love for Truth as a teenager, studying Scripture at intensive Bible Camps organized each summer throughout Europe by his church's denomination. He complemented the intensives by attending Bible College in Ontario, Canada. A passionate seeker of God and Truth, Dave believes that the Holy Spirit continues to reveal more to us as we seek to know with openness of heart. A preacher and teacher for close to 30 years now, he has spoken in countries around the globe and served in various ministry roles in France, Australia and overseas as a short-term Missionary with his family. Dave met his wife Laurence in France where they got married in June 1990. Paris is, after all, the romance capital of the world! They've been living in Australia since 1997. Two boys were added to their lives through the IVF program: Damien in 2002 and Breandan in 2004.

PREFACE

This book is a condensed version of the original volume, I AM: The Blueprint of Humanity. It uses extracts from the original version, but all the references and supporting arguments have been stripped, leaving behind a poignant narration voiced by Adam and Christ as letters to humanity that are guided by my imagination of course.

However, this volume's design, purpose and intended audience is slightly different to the original. It's much smaller in size, and you can read it as a novel. Hopefully, you will enjoy each chapter as you would enjoy a degustation menu at a distinguished French restaurant. I've deliberately kept the chapters to small bite- sized gourmet portions enabling the reader to appreciate the savours of each point. I'm confident you will experience an explosion of tastes and sensations in your spirit, heart and mind as you recognize and discern the delicate truths presented to you.

Open mindedness is required. Sometimes you might experience unknown tastes your palate is not used to, perhaps a spice, a herb or alien ingredient: a delectable thought that at first offends your reasoning, but releases agreeable aftertastes.

You may be tempted to resist or to reject some ideas. Let curiosity lead you back to the platter. I don't suggest you accept everything as gospel. I simply hope you give each thought a fair go. Seek your heart. Refer to God and Scripture. I hope you will see that the seasonings of divine love have infused each thought.

Secondly, this book's intended audience is much wider. My wish is to see all seekers of spiritual enlightenment come to a place of revelation. I hope these pages will become a guide for many. I unashamedly always will refer to the Holy Bible as the source for understanding higher truths. I know this book won't replace Holy Scriptures, but I hope it will make sense of the whole message, help bring understanding and lead to encounters with the Divine.

Thirdly, this volume’s purpose is different to the original book as well. As a condensed version of my larger first book, this version has taken a course of its own. Its intent unveils itself. It is to open the eyes of all humanity to the reality of our restored state in Older Brother. It sounds like a big task and it indeed is. But there are many voices out there saying the same thing. This book is simply joining in the chorus with a multitude of authors, prophets and troubadours the Holy Spirit is currently using around the World.

I hope this book fulfils my lofty expectations for you.

Letter to Humanity from Adam

My Dear Friends,

I've been waiting for awhile to write you this letter. It's more like my memoirs.

I'm hoping to clarify many misconceptions and misunderstandings about me and the genesis of humanity. I'd like to make some sense of it all.

In a way, this letter is like a mea culpa. It may seem in some cases that I'm trying to justify myself. I'll let you judge for yourself.
