Monkey in Mind

About this ebook
This is a tale about a Thought Monkey called Monkey Tell whose task it is to deliver thoughts to people and who he must help to fulfill those thoughts to completion.
The river of flowing thoughts flows right across the universe of time, carrying all our thoughts and memories from the beginning of time from the origins of thoughts to infinity.
Yet, we take our river of thoughts and memories lightly.
We fail to value our thoughts and memories, as we live our day-to-day lives.
Thought monkeys deliver our thoughts and memories whenever we need them.
When we are saddened, we receive happy memories to help us through difficult times in life.
When we achieve successes in life our thought monkeys store these thoughts in our caves of treasured memories, which they transport in their canoes down the river of thoughts and memories.
Poachers in the forest of the mind are the individuals who enjoy capturing the ideas of other people and claiming them as their own. There are some minds which have not been enriched enough to recognize and create ideas when they pass them by. However, these minds have the ability to spot "golden ideas" either in the written or spoken word and to claim them as their own.
A poacher of ideas is unable to breathe life into an idea that was created in the mind of another individual. Our thought monkeys are shaped by us from the time of our birth and they keep evolving over time and they gradually enrich our minds with the most colorful and vibrant ideas, which are beneficial for our imagination and creativity.
Imagine the Mona Lisa being painted by any other individual than Leonardo da Vinci, it would have lacked the beauty and the enchantment which it still holds for us to this day. The painting is more than just a work of art it is an artistic form of creative expression and speaks volumes about the mind and the genius of the man himself.
"The power of thought makes a man an Immortal.
The power of thought can save humanity from extinction.
The power of thought defines our existence in the universe.
A thought can travel through time and space,
A thought can pierce heaven and hell,
I am that thought, I am Monkey Tell."
Inventors and Scientists were people who gave their "Thought Monkeys" free reign in the forest of their minds, which is one of the reasons that they could come up with such genius ideas. Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein, and Leonardo da Vinci are just a few of them.
The beauty of having and nourishing an active imagination is that the ideas do not stop, they continue to leap out at you when you least expect them. The simplest object, sight, or sound can develop and transform itself into the most ridiculous idea which may be illogical but with a slight tweak and twist it could develop and morph into an object or invention which could transform the history of mankind forever, like the Law of Energy or the Law of Gravity.

CHAPTER 1
He was scared, excited and nervous, he wondered to himself if this would be an adventure he would return from or an experience he would remember for the rest of his life.
As the monkey stepped into the dark cave, he could not see any light shining through the inky darkness, yet he continued on his way. Stumbling in the inky darkness like a blind monkey hoping to see the light soon.
Did he just see something move in the darkness ahead or was it just his imagination?
He was now in a dense maze of interconnected narrow passages. He could see an electric spark start at one end, that spark was now multiplying in intensity, as it started to set of lights and connections across the synapses of all these neuron cells and before long the strongest thought was heading towards him.
Monkey Tell was hit by a sharp bolt of electricity and before he knew it he was riding a beam of light while moving at the speed of light.
He did not have the time to think of where he was going.
He was thrilled at being able to move, when he should have been lying dead in the darkness of these caverns of the mind.
He was riding on a superfast train and he was moving in random motions from one part of the cavern to another.
The whole of the cavern was now lighting up with electrical impulses.
These electrical impulses and bolts of lights coming on and going off in quick succession were the product of human thinking.
Monkey Tell was being pursued by the thoughts, images, sounds and impressions of the human mind, if he was able to hold on and not let go of the thought, he could have the experience of his lifetime, like all the Thought Monkeys before him.
The vampire bats in the dark caverns of the mind were disturbed by the bright flashing lights.
The blood sucking bats of fear, indecision, self doubt, worry, depression, anger, hatred, lust and greed were awakened from their slumber.
For every new idea that is received by the mind, the vampire bats are there to try to destroy it with the feelings of fear or indecision.
Just as Monkey Tell started to enjoy the speed and the rush of excitement of the ride on these neurons through the caverns of the undiscovered mind, he was hit by another synaptic blast, which knocked him off the steady position he was holding onto, as he rode the beams of neurological transportation.
Monkey Tell fell to the soggy forest floor, he was elated with joy and he knew that he was ready to start his journey through the human mind as a Thought Monkey. He was smoking from the blast of a great idea, but he thoroughly enjoyed the feeling, it was exhilarating.
This thought monkey had now travelled through the realm of the mind and discovered the intricate network of electrical impulses which was the power of thought.
Monkey was never the same after he went through that tunnel into the light of knowledge and illumination.
"THE POWER OF A THOUGHT makes a man an Immortal.
The power of a thought can save humanity from extinction.
The power of a thought defines our existence in the universe.
A thought can travel through time and space,
A thought can pierce heaven and hell,
I am that thought, I am Monkey Tell."
WHILE ON HIS MYSTICAL and transforming journey through the mind of man, he saw several images of a man he later found out was William Tell, a man who was skilled in the use of the bow and arrow.
Monkey Tell is a Thought Monkey who collects his arrows of thought.
This Thought Monkey stores the collected thoughts in his quiver of arrows and delivers them to the right people, at the right time.
He carries a Shield to defend himself against the evil and insane Mirror Elfins, who carry large highly polished mirrors of distraction and ride on carpets of mind changing breeze. Every time a person gets shot with a good idea the Mirror Elfins distract him or her with another exciting image on their Mirrors of Distraction.
Monkey Tell carries a Cross-bow like William Tell to shoot a person's mind with the most powerful and useful thought which could help to enrich the life of the person and society.
Monkey Tell has the ability to morph into any of the primates from a Gorilla to an Orangutan, as well as his nearest cousins, the humans.
CHAPTER 2
The tale of my evolution is a long one. One of which I am
