Brigitte’s Dreams - Seung Geel Hong
Prologue
Brigitte Jenning-Stroh had health problems all her life, some of which were almost impossible to diagnose or treat. Nevertheless, with the help from her best friend June, she managed to overcome her problems and work until her retirement age. This is Brigitte Jenning-Stroh’s story.
1. Near Astral Travel
It was approximately three o’clock in the morning, and three-year-old Brigitte awoke from her sleep and groped her way to the bathroom. She sat on the toilet for a few minutes and then made her way to her parents’ bedroom. She climbed onto the bed and crawled in between her mother and father, where she immediately fell into deep sleep.
A few minutes later, Brigitte entered into one of her unusual sleep-experiences. From a bird’s-eye view, Brigitte saw her own body lying between her parents. Then she saw-and-felt her own body dividing into two parts: One part slowly floated upward, while the remaining part stayed motionless between her parents.
Brigitte’s body did not divide equally. The part that remained in bed retained nearly all the body density, while the floating part was so thin that it was almost invisible.
Moreover, at first, Brigitte’s stream of consciousness was not divided at all. Her entire consciousness separated with the floating-body that was rising upward toward the ceiling, leaving her stationary-body behind.
Hence, Brigitte could see her stationary-body become smaller as the floating-body continued to rise farther upward through the roof and out into the dark night sky.
Then, when Brigitte’s floating-body was 40 or 50 feet from the stationary-body, her consciousness suddenly enabled itself to be present in both bodies simultaneously, and Brigitte could feel what was happening in either body.
In the stationary-body, Brigitte felt her body become increasingly less dense as the floating-body moved farther away, and she soon began to feel her body slowly disintegrate into nothingness, which caused Brigitte to become alarmed.
Meanwhile, Brigitte’s floating-body felt somewhat normal, but as it continued to move farther away from the stationary-body, it became increasingly
