So, how much liquid gold, or ink, is actually inside your inkjet printer cartridge? Very little. A typical black inkjet printer cartridge has 8 milliliters of fluid, roughly equivalent to a single ketchup packet (8 grams). A typical color inkjet printer cartridge has 3.5 milliliters of liquid, less than ¾ of a teaspoon. Let’s assume your printer has three color inkjet cartridges (i.e., cyan, magenta, and yellow).
