    Bible Word Studies

    The Biblical quotes are taken from the King James Version (KJV). I realize that there are many translations out there. I am also aware of the many archaic words used in the KJV. It reads like Shakespeare to some people and is hard to comprehend but because others were brought up on it, they are more comfortable with it. There is a lot of disagreement and debate on which translations are the best or right. When I do in-depth studies covering a wide range of Scriptures, I tend to use the KJV because of its origin and connection to the Textus Receptus, as opposed to the Alexandrian Texts where corrupt versions most abound.
