Mutual Funds, as its name suggests, A fund which is created mutually by a large number of investors, having common goals and objectives.

Let’s Simplify

AMC create a fund to invest in Sensex's top 25 equity. Now fund invites investments via NFO (New Fund Offer) from investors having the same goals. All different investors put their money in a pool account and the fund invests that money in the top 25 listed shares as per the pre-designed portfolio.
