Millionaire Mindset - Dorian Hackett
Introduction – What is a Millionaire Mindset?
There are around 36 million millionaires around the world. That doesn’t sound like much when you realize that there are over 7 billion people in the world. However, while they make up a small percentage of the overall population, they still hold substantial control over the economic resources of any country. Many prominent and powerful people are in the millionaire class. This means that they have a degree of influence over how society is shaped and can have an effect on how wealth is created in the world. When you add the total net worth of millionaires around the world, it can add up to more than the entire net worth of the poorer classes.
By analyzing millionaires, people have formed some theories on how to attain wealth. This means that the millionaire mindset and lifestyle can directly influence the system of wealth creation. With such huge amounts of wealth, millionaires are sure to pique the interest of many people. But while reaching the level of billionaires seems unfathomable, the same cannot be said about millionaires. This is why people tend to study them so that they can match their mindset and become rich themselves.
Contrary to popular belief, most millionaires did not merely inherit their wealth. Only 16% of millionaires inherited their fortunes. 23% got to this level through paid work as a professional, while 47% are business owners. Only 1 out of 3 millionaires were able to fund their college tuition on their own without debt. It shows that a lot of millionaires worked hard to get to this financial standing. It also implies that the millionaire status is much more attainable than many people may have thought. You should try to understand the inner workings of the millionaire mind before you write off this feat as impossible.
When you sit down to study the millionaire mindset, you will probably be flooded with all sorts of questions about them. How did they manage to avoid risks and pitfalls? How did they navigate their way through success? What is their lifestyle like? How long did it take them to get to where they are? How did they manage their finances to get to this level?
When people think of millionaires, they may imagine a life of extravagance and luxury. However, that is not the reality of most real-life rich people. Yes, of course, there is a level of privilege and comfort they have that a lot of people can’t even imagine. But it isn’t something right out of the Wolf of Wall Street movie. Millionaires rarely buy a yacht or thousand-dollar suits for everyday life. A lot of them spend time with their families and aren’t essentially workaholics. They live in normal neighborhoods, not the lavish gold penthouses, as most of us imagine.
While there is some truth to the concept that money does make money, it doesn’t mean that you can never get rich on your own accord. It does become easier to stay wealthy once you attain wealth. Getting to that platform requires hard work, both physically and
