The Stars Align - Gabriella Weekes

    The Zodiac & Archetypes

There are 12 signs of the Zodiac, starting with Aries and ending with Pisces. Each sign represents the journey of a soul from source at the time of birth, back to source at the time of death. The 12 signs represent a life cycle of a soul, if you will.

People often talk about transcending the astrology chart, and in many ways they are right. That is the ultimate goal. In my view, however, we are here to master both the good and the bad traits of each sign, depending on where it appears in our chart.

Every one of us has all the 12 Zodiac Signs running through our charts and personalities. Even if our Planets are all in the same sign, for example, the Houses in our chart will all include every sign of the Zodiac. There are lessons for all of us from these 12 signs. That is why no two people are the same, even if they share a Sun sign. Depending on the time of birth, date of birth and location, every individual’s soul road map will be unique.

What has helped me learn more about myself is not only looking at the signs in my chart, but also their opposites. The opposite signs can give us an indication of what we are here to learn more about.

Although we are not here to live out the exact themes and qualities of our opposite sign, we are intrinsically connected with it in many ways. For example, throughout my life there has been a running theme between my relationships and the Libra sign.

Libras have followed me wherever I go. Friends, family members, lovers and even enemies. That sign has taught me the most in this lifetime, and the lessons have not always been easy.

Opposites attract and they can also repel. Like looking in the mirror, they can offer us great reflections, and many insights into life from a different perspective: the other side of the coin if you will. Neither is right or wrong, it is all simply different.

So, without further delay, let’s dive right into the first of the archetypes, and my personal favourite, Aries.

I am Adam. Heaven-sent from creation. The first man. I am bold and headstrong. I have little to fear. I am not afraid to go into battle for what I believe in.

I fight for justice, and for those without a voice. I would like to end the suffering of others less fortunate than me. I am prepared to die for those I love and for what I believe in.

I am a leader. I can rally an army with my energy and strength. People are inspired by my flame. A fire that burns within my soul can light up a room, or the embers in your own heart.

I love fiercely. I am not afraid to put it all on the line for the one I love. I will cross oceans for love and can be quite focused on those I
