About this ebook
The imperial fleet’s only hope for victory is the ‘Hero of the Empire’ Metternich. Too bad that the man many consider to be their greatest hero, is in fact their greatest coward.
Metty once more finds himself in a desperate situation on the Planet of Volun 4. Newly promoted to the rank of Commodore, he must take command of the defeated 378th fleet corps and lead it to victory against a superior foe, and he must do that before the arrival of an even greater enemy force, while also keeping his secret cowardice hidden from his own troops, lest they turn on him.
Meanwhile rebellion stirs in the Occupied Territories, as a mysterious figure called 'Nobody' emerges to rally the rebels and lead them to victory against the Empire. But is he truly their salvation?
Enemies to his front, vengeful rebels to his rear and surrounding him are allies that may betray him at any moment.
Just another weekday for poor ol' Metty.

I'm a pharmacist in Eastern Europe, who is a great fan of SF and fantasy, but my favorite genre is military SF, so I decided to write my own series.I was inspired by SF gems like: Armoured Troops Votons, Code Geass, Star Wars, the Lost Fleet and my personal favorite, the series which i cannot get enough off: Legend of Galactic Heroes. But the main inspiration for me to write was Sir Terry Pratchet's Discworld and George Mcdonald Frasier's Flashman. So, inspired by great series and two titans I set out to create my own story. But one question was always nagging me whenever I watched SF and that was: 'What if magic instead of tech was what advanced to such a degree that a civilization could leave their planet?'And that was how it all started!Contact info: razvanm1989@yahoo.comIt would mean a lot to me if you'd go to my amazon page and place a review on the book copies there!https://www.amazon.com/R-M-Solea/e/B00TSZT1B2/ref=dp_byline_cont_ebooks_1
