INTRODUCTION
Before attempting to begin fishing, it is a good idea for every inexperienced fisherman to learn a few basics about fishing in general. Simple fishing tips can be extremely beneficial to someone who is new to the sport of fishing.
There are three significant things that are often discussed with fishing tips. These include the fishing spot, the tackle and the bait. All these must be considered, with a specific species of fish in mind.
While fish may have minor variations in terms of preferred living areas, most of them tend to remain in places that are deep, shady and have a plentiful food supply. A boat can be necessary to access deep bodies of water. If a fishing location has been chosen, paddling slowly and cautiously towards it, with the engine off prevents fish from being alarmed. This will make fishing easier.
Riverbeds, banks, trees and even rocks can all provide shade in areas. Fish for sport are most likely to be found in areas where there are water plants and smaller forms of fish swimming about.
Early morning until just before high noon, late afternoon until before dark and mid-night until the break of dawn, are the best hours for fishing. When the sky is cloudy, can also a perfect time to fish. In terms of seasons, fishing is always best in the spring and summer. After a long hibernation in the fall and winter, the fish are hungry and looking for food. Fishing can always be done when it is cold, if the cold weather is bearable.
When it comes to the equipment needed for fishing, such as tackle, gear and particularly the rod, there is one simple rule to follow: the shorter the reel, the more skilled a fisherman becomes (but no shorter than four feet). This explains why beginner anglers are recommended to use rods that are at least six feet long.
Bait is often mentioned in fishing tips. Baits and lures can be prepared or purchased in a variety of forms. The type of bait to use will be determined by the species of fish being pursued. Since different types of fish prefer different baits, it is important to know which type of bait a species prefers.
All three considerations and recommendations revolve around the fish. It will be easier to determine which places, bait and tackle are best for catching a certain type of fish, once you have a better understanding of how the fish behaves.

CHAPTER ONE
THE UNDERSTANDING OF FISHING
Fishing can be referred to as fishing, freshwater or saltwater, generally with reel, line and hook. Like hunting, fishing was created to provide survival food. However, fishing as a sport became significant during ancient times. An Egyptian fishing scene from about 2000 BCE depicts figures fishing with rods and nets. A Chinese account from around the 4th century BCE shows fishing with a silk thread, a needle hook and a bamboo rod with bait cooked rice. Ancient Greek, Assyrian, Roman and Jewish texts also contain references to fishing.
Today, while increasing numbers of people are moving towards rivers and lakes, fishing for sports remains one of the most common forms of outdoor recreation in the world.
The concerns of modern anglers remain essentially the same as those of all fishermen who came before them: where to find fish and how best to lure them. Wind and weather, design of the canyon and ways of water all must be understood by anglers. Fishing continues to be as it has always been—a challenge in natural history.

EARLY HISTORY
The history of fishing and fishing equipment is vast. The ancestor of the fishhook was one of the earliest tools used by human beings: the throat—that is, wood, bone, or stone in length 1 inch (2.5 cm) or so, pointing to both ends and securing off-center to the line. The throat was covered with a lure. When a fish swallows the throat, a pull winds it around the fish gullet and can then be pulled.
When copper and bronze came to be used, a hook was one of the first tools made of metal. This was connected to a hand-operated line made of sufficiently powerful animal or vegetable material to catch and land a fish. The practice of connecting the opposite end of the line to
