Writing a book (Innocent and Naive mind) is harder than I thought and more rewarding than I could have ever imagined. None of this would have been possible without my book coach, Dr. Deji Yusuf. I’m very grateful, I truly have no idea where I’d be able to be the Author of this book in a timely manner if he hadn’t given me a call and acted as my accountabilty coach that became the dream come true whom I desperately needed at that time to turn my story to book.
I owe an enormous debt of gratitude to those who gave me detailed and constructive comments on one or more chapters, including Mrs Yewande Adigun Ariyo, Dr Deji Yusuf. They gave freely of their time to discuss nuances of the text and pushed me to clarify concepts, explore particular facets of insight work, and explain the rationales for specific recommendations.
To everyone at the Write for Gold (WFG) Tribe who enables me to be the interview host of a respectable platform that I’m honored to be a part of, thank you for letting me serve, for being a part of our amazing platform, and for showing up every time and helping more authors turn their ideas into stories.
To all the individuals I have had the opportunity to lead, be led by, or watch their leadership from afar, I want to say thank you for being the inspiration.
Finally, I want to thank my children Mary, Emmanuel and Abigail, for tolerating my incessant disappearances into my home office, your love and care especially that nice cup of tea goes a long way I love you guys more than I can actually express in words and understanding makes both the journey and destination worthwhile.
I want to thank God most of all, because without God I wouldn’t be able to do any of this. I'm grateful.
Yours sincerely,
Sade

Introduction
The online Cambridge dictionary defines being innocent as: A person who has very little experience and doesn’t know the bad things that happen in life
while on the other hand, naïve is defined in the same dictionary as, too ready to believe someone or something, or to trust that someone’s intentions are good especially because of a lack of experience.
Taken from the above two definitions, being innocent and naïve have some similarities, in that, they describe someone who is too ready to believe and trust others due to their lack of life’s experience, which then makes them vulnerable.
As it was best said by Leonard F. Peltier:
"Innocence is the weakest defence. Innocence has a single voice
