ROMAN THE GREEK

It was just after nine and Onyx was closing. Those that needed to finish their workout routines were given until 9:30, which is a hard stop time. For insurance purposes, the doors have to be locked and the alarm armed no later than 10:00. As is my closure routine, I poked my head into each separate room and when confirmed no one was in there, the doors are locked so no one can go back in. We heard that was a policy created after a few blokes were caught actually living and sleeping at the club in Dublin. Locking each room makes sure someone can’t get back in there to hide.

Here especially, because the club is new and all of the equipment state-of-the-art. Even this building type is new, almost completely glass on the inside with the inner walls mirrored. Cleaning crews have to come through at night. The only walls that are not glass are the locker rooms, bathrooms, and the two offices.

Angus would be picking me up at 11:00 to head back over to his for some beers, but I have to be home to sleep in my own bed by 2:00 a.m. at the latest. Gives us a bit of time to relax and unwind. I can’t wait to get my truck back so I don’t have to depend on him for rides and have to owe him favors. We usually have a bit of a fuck around anyway, but he’ll tell me what favor I owe him for picking me up tonight when I get in the car. Tonight will be no different. I hope he wants a road blow. I
