Chapter One
Surfers Paradise, Australia.
At two o’ clock. Take a long look at the big hunk of delicious arse leaning against the bar. Oh, fuck, he is H–O–T.
Robbie moaned and cupped his balls. Now that’s what I call a wet dream walking.
Ryan Harper shifted his gaze to the bar and his libido went into overdrive. Oh yeah. The tall, sexy, sun-kissed god turned slowly, giving him a full, unadulterated view of a hard muscle-packed body. His white shirt, opened to the waist, accentuated his suntanned, hairless six-pack and framed deliciously bitable flat nipples. His attention fixed on the unbuttoned jeans, slung low on the man’s hips, showing a band of white boxers. He licked his lips at the impressive bulge, sure it had started to show its appreciation and lifted his stare, slowly, taking in every inch of him. Oh boy, this hot guy ticked every box on his I want to fuck you
meter.
Deliciously Handsome met his gaze with a slow sexy smile and lifted his glass in a toast. Fuck. His mouth went dry. Without thinking of the repercussions of hooking up with an obvious player, he lifted his beer in response and clamped his grin into a small smile. No need to appear too eager to have the guy naked and sweaty under him. The young man’s mouth quirked into a satisfied grin and his stomach dropped to his boots. Damn! He must have lust written all over his face but what the hell, he wanted a man and Deliciously Handsome had just placed a prime-time advertisement. Oh yeah, he’s thrown out his line and damned if I haven’t taken the bait like some sex-starved teenager.
I must be dreaming. Oh, fuck! He’s coming over!
Robbie gripped his arm. What are you going to do? It must be you he’s after. Look at him. He is way out of my league.
Let go of my arm for a start. I’m not your date.
He shook Robbie free and glared at him. Don’t, for fuck’s sake, say anything stupid. Be cool.
The sexy man sauntered toward them and Ryan’s attention went to his face. Hell, with eyes as deep blue as the Pacific Ocean, he looked as if he belonged on the cover of a romance novel. He stopped in front of them and inclined his dark head. His gaze moved in slow deliberation over him pausing for a long moment at the front of his jeans before moving slowly upward.
Down boy. Ryan’s traitorous cock strained against the front of his jeans. He met the stranger’s gaze and forced his voice not to show his desire. Do you want something?
A voice like dark chocolate poured over him.
I know you. I’ve seen your picture in the firemen’s calendar. You’re Ryan, Mister July. Fuck, you’ve got a great arse.
Deliciously Handsome held out his hand. Zac Peters.
Ryan shook the offered hand firmly. Ryan Harper. This is my friend, Robbie Smith.
Nice to meet you, Robbie.
Zac ignored Robbie’s outstretched hand and centered his attention on him. I’m the new kid in town. I’ve been transferred from Sydney to the fire department at Golden Beach. I believe you’re based there too.
He grinned at Ryan and rested a hip on the bar seat beside the round, glass-top table. It looks like we will be working together.
Ryan swallowed hard. Imagine working with him, I’ll be hard all day long. Yeah, I’ve been stationed at Golden Beach for a little over five years
He gave Zac’s perfect body a frank appraisal and Zac’s six-pack rippled under his gaze. His mouth watered at the sight of his suntanned bare flesh and a navel he wanted desperately to lick. He inhaled and caught a whiff of expensive cologne and clean male musk. He met the man’s amused gaze and forced words past the lump in his throat. How come you didn’t get into the calendar? I think you have a pretty fine arse yourself.
Thanks.
Zac grinned. "So did a
