The Intro
Welcome!
If you are here reading this, then it may be safe to say that you may be interested in finding out how to provide superb customer service easily and efficiently. If you are in a business that services others and requires you to supply any amount of humanity to interact with others may prove to be a feat at some points. Being that people are not machines or robots, if you will, entails recognizing feelings cannot always be turned on and off like a power switch. Feelings are what drives some in their interactions. Have you ever been so upset at something going on in your personal life but still had to muster up as many niceties
possible to get through a transaction with someone else? Something in you knows that person has absolutely nothing to do with why you feel the way you’re feeling. But you also know that each person you transact with is walking a fine line, and they have no idea. Your fuse is so short that it only takes one false move on the other party’s behalf to combust you and ruin your service because you were unable to use your unhappy or negative feelings to your advantage. Learning to access your feelings first and utilizing what you have gathered from your feelings during interactions and the transactions you make is what this book is all about. Being able to access, compartmentalize and interact with your everyday customer with ease. It can be done. It can be done in such a way that it can be normal to you to provide excellence in every interaction, even on the days you feel everyone is skating on thin ice. Some cannot handle it. Some can.
