Motorbike Builds a Treehouse - Roy Roberson
This is Motorbike.
Well, Motorbike isn’t his real name. That's the nickname his friends gave him because he loves motor- cycles. He has five of them.
Motorbike's real name is Michael, which means who is like God.
Michael isn’t God, but he is like him. After all, Michael—I mean, Motorbike—reminds you of God when you meet him.
He's kind and generous, and he loves people. Old people. Young people. Rich people. Poor people. Black people. White people. Brown people. He loves people with disabilities and people with special abilities. Motorbike just loves people. All people.
And because Motorbike loves people, he lives his life by the Golden Rule: In everything, do to others what you would have them do to you.
Every day Motorbike treats people the way he would like to be treated. He's friendly, considerate,
and patient with his coworkers, neighbors, and even strangers at the gas station and grocery store.
Take a good look at Motorbike.
Can you guess what he does for a living?
Yep. He's a construction worker.
Every day he uses his hands to build things. Big things. Small things. Complicated things. And simple things. He's smart and is careful to plan and organize his work, so he follows each step correctly.
But, when Motorbike isn’t working at his job, he loves to use his skills to build or fix things to make life better for his neighbors and the new friends he makes every day.
What's great is that Motorbike can build or fix just about anything.
He can build things out of wood, like a carpenter. He can build things out of metal and weld them together. He can run electrical wire to give things power, like an electrician. There's nothing too hard or complicated for Motorbike.
As you get to know him, you’ll see.
One thing is for sure: nothing makes Motorbike happier than helping people.
