He was single of course and drove, at very high speed, a smart FJ Holden car, which he soon traded for an even smarter FB Holden car. We courted at dances, movies in the Town Hall of a small country town, and later at the Drive-in movies. Water skiing, basketball, Junior Farmers and football made for a busy and enjoyable social life.
