This is my story, so sit back, grab a cup of coffee, and let me tell you about my life. Mine is just a simple tale; one woman’s destiny as it unfolds from birth.
Psalms 139:14-18 (KJV)
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. ¹⁵My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. ¹⁶Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. ¹⁷How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! ¹⁸If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
This has been my life verse for the most part. Everything about my life has been God-ordained and according to His plan and purpose. For you see, when I was yet hidden in my mother’s womb, God had a plan. A big plan - one that would defy the devil’s plans.
So I hope you find this an enjoyable book.
I’m sure there will be times I will cry as I bring out some memories, and times I will be grateful, and many times wonder why? But, like I said, God had a plan.
Now to get on with it!

I truly thank the most my parents, Richard and Erma Cooper, although they are not here to read this, for loving me and taking me into their home and treating me always as if I was their very own. They were wonderful parents, and I’ve always said they were hand-picked
by God Himself for me. I also want to thank my brother-in-law, Jack Pearce, and my sister, Beverly, for loving me, too. Jack was like a second dad after my daddy died and I miss them both dearly.
For my spiritual life I want to thank my first husband, Coy, for leading me to Jesus when I was 19, and Pastor and Mrs. Buth from Witchita Falls, Texas, for leading me in prayer and forever changing my life and discipling me in the beginning, as well as my Aunt Peggy for taking me to my first Pentecostal meeting.
There are many along the way who strengthened my walk in the Lord, people who believed in me and gave me that push I needed to sing my first song and preach my first message. I’ll start with Leonard Wells, for trusting me all those years with bringing the Word, then John Carlin, for making me a part of our congregation
