Do not think that because these are simple tools, you can do without them? If you doubt the power of the lever, try opening a beer bottle without a bottle opener, or pulling out a nail hammered deeply into a piece of wood with bare hands. You will find out very quickly that it is tough, if not impossible, to pull out the nail with your fingers.

MEET THE WIFE OF A DEAD PROPHET

Before we get into the fourteen different levers that you can leverage on to Move Mountains and achieve great success, let us look at the story of a poor widow and how she experienced a supernatural increase.

Here is her story:

A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophet cried out to Elisha, saying, Your servant, and my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.

So Elisha said to her, What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house? And she said, Your maid servant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil".

"Then he said, Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, all your neighbors - empty vessels; do not gather just a few.

And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones."

So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out.

Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, Bring me another vessel. "And he said to her, There is not another vessel. So the oil ceased.

Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest."

(2 Kings 4: 1 – 7)

This woman, like many of us, found herself in a serious predicament. She was a widow because her husband, who was a prophet, had not only died, but left her with children and a lot of debt. What is the problem that you are facing right now? What is it that you are lacking in your life? Are you being threatened by debt, sickness, lack, opposition, failure, depression, anxiety, fear, doubt, etc.?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, it is not a mistake that you are holding this book. Weep no more, seek no more, despair no more, for the solution to whatever is tormenting you is in your hands.

The story of this widow is the pivot of all we will be presenting in the rest of this book. Like many of us, when this widow found herself in an impossible situation, she went out to the expert. In this case, she went to the prophet Elisha with the hope that he was going to solve her problem.

When asked about what was going on, she pointed out the fact that her dead husband was a prophet. In other words, her husband was a good man, a Godly man, and an upright man. Nevertheless, he died a debtor!

Have you wondered why bad things happen to good people? You may even be wondering right now why you are in such a bad situation despite all the good life that you have lived.

This woman is soon going to find out that it is not what has happened in the past that matters the most, but what these past actions were preparing her for. Without her husband dying and leaving her with so much debt and her sons facing the risk of being taken as slaves, she may not have experienced the supernatural increase that came her way.

Your past failures, setbacks, disappointments, abuse, neglect, insults, and all the other things that have contributed to getting you into your present predicament, were all setting you up for the next miracle you are about to experience.

Just as the widow did not feel that she already had the solution to her problem, you may be feeling that your solution is going to come from somewhere else. The good news is that you already have the solution, and we are about to let you know how to unleash supernatural increase and unimaginable success.

The woman in our story resorted to self-pity and in so doing, forgot about the solution she had. The lesson here for all of us is that you cannot be complaining and praising at the same time. It is impossible to see possibilities when your thoughts, speech, and actions are driven by negativity.

Do you like to draw sympathy from others by talking about your problems all the time? Are you always complaining of how your past has prevented you from achieving the success that you desire and feel you deserved?

You are about to discover, as the wife of the dead prophet did, that your past is not an obstacle, but can be leveraged for the life of abundance, victory, and success that you desire.

After the prophet listened to this woman patiently, he did not do what she expected him to do. If this woman anticipated the answer that the prophet gave her, she may not have come to him in the first place.

The prophet asked her a simple question. What do you have? In other words, what can you leverage to get out of your debt? She already had the solution to her debt but did not know.

You also have the answer to whatever predicament you may be in right now. Unfortunately, just like the woman, most of us do not believe that what we have is good enough to solve our problems.

The woman was quick to say, I have just a little oil. She was indirectly saying that what she had was too little and would not be enough to solve her problems. The fact that she came to see the prophet was an indication that she did not know she had the solution to her problem.

Please do not get me wrong. I understand that this poor widow had hit a brick wall and was facing an impossible challenge; the situation was really critical and pitiable.

In her heart, she must have been saying, What I have will not do the job, that is why I am here. Please do a miracle!

How can anybody blame her? Who would not think the same way if placed in her predicament? I guess many of us would not act differently. What is the challenge you are currently experiencing? Do you feel that you do not have what it takes, or what you have is too little?

Just like this widow, you are soon to discover the power hidden in the often neglected little that you are already having. The same question that the prophet asked this widow is going to be asked of you. What do you have?

When the prophet asked the widow this question, her response triggered her solution. The little oil that she had was more than enough to pay her debts and feed her and her children.

One of the greatest challenges that humans face today is unhappiness. All of us want to be happy, but few are actually happy. Before we move ahead, I want you to let this principle of leveraging to work for you and give you true happiness, fulfillment, and satisfaction.

Stop waiting for riches, fame, and things to make you happy. If things can make you happy, the absence of things will take away your joy and happiness. The fact that you are alive on this planet is enough for you to be happy. That is not a cliché! Happiness resides in you, and you need a heart of gratitude to unlock that happiness. Nobody, no achievement or special circumstance can make you truly happy.

The first place and best place to start is with yourself. After all, how will you learn how to leverage what others have if you do not even know what you are and what you have?

Therefore, you must take an inventory of what your gifts are. All of us have gifts, including you! The issue here is not if you have a gift or not! You have gifts and talents and now is the time to discover them if you have not already done so.

The first place to start is by being comfortable with who you are. There is no point trying, wishing, desiring, and even praying to be somebody else. No matter how successful, famous, and rich somebody else is, you are not allowed to desire to be like them. However, that is not an injunction not to learn from others.

You are being cautioned to be you because the best you can be if you copy others is an imitation or at worst, a counterfeit. It does not always end well with any counterfeit. Sooner or later people find out that it is a fake, and the counterfeit is trashed.

You will not be trashed, but your work and ideas if not authentic will eventually end up in the garbage heap of history. Who is going to settle down for a cheap imitation of anything? You are not going to do that if you know
