Paola Mina-Osorio
Paola Mina-Osorio is a Hispanic physician-scientist who lives in the Greater New York City area and who has spent the last 15 years of her career as an immunology researcher focusing on the discovery and development of new treatments for chronic immune-mediated diseases and autoimmune diseases including lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, atopic dermatitis, and psoriasis. Hispanics are severely underrepresented in medicine and science in the U.S. Paola feels strongly that it is her responsibility as a Hispanic doctor to help mentor the next generation of Hispanic doctors and scientists in the U.S.
